A flash code of 8 indicates a computer controller problem. Check all the connections at the controller under the rear cover. A rebuild or replacement of the controller is probably necessary. Hope this helps.

hi James ,this is a power-chair right ? if so then the oil must be coming from one of the gearboxes, if possible run your finger inside the wheel where the axle goes into the gearbox ? Regards Rob

call the suppliers of the chair and ask them on how to do it could be a simple transport clip holding it closed

First is to have the new battery checked. It does not happen often but some do go bad on the shelf. The next thing is checking your charging plug in (most likely the problem). The port could have a worn away connection and just needs to be replaced. Also check for a fuse that could have popped.
