Drainage filter was blocked, hole melted in drum!

Hi, I used JB Weld (an epoxy type paste available from a DIY store) to mend several small holes in the drum on my washing machine. May be worth trying if the holes are not too big even if its only a temporary measure to check whether the machine still works OK before deciding if you want to buy a new drum.

Dryer not working

If the drum is not moving: There is something stuck inside your furness blower( could be some pice of cloth). Open the furness and remove the piece and your dryer will be working fine afterwords. If the Drum is working fine; the coil valve, fuse or the gas ignitor could be the problem; usually repacing the coil valve will fix the problem

Wont start on any program

Close your faucet valve & unscrew your hoses to check screens on hoses & machine. Clean out well. Water from faucet shd be in good pressure. Refit, check for leaks. If this is not the problem change your inlet valve, it is easily done.

Zanussi washer/dryer

Hi, Sorry but this sounds very much like the drums bearings have failed. It's quite a big job and unless the machine is still under warranty maybe uneconomical to repair.

How old is it and which country are you in?

If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills.
If they do not, please hold off on the rating and add a comment with more details so I can try to help you further. Cheers, D

No movement, then loud beeping alert

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me pl.....if helped. Click on 'thanks for trying' if not helped, your prob will be back for someone else to solve.

Problem 1,
You can remove the entire drawer to clean it out it might be blocked.
Problem 2
Once again this might be the mother board, we had the same problem, easily replaced by a qualified engineer, it now works fine.

Water leaking all over floor

Just a suggestion but it could be that the person who installed it did not seal the pipes properly, hence the leaking on your floor.
If you recheck these pipes to prevent further problems and see what happens.

Washer stopped working

I think your mother board has gone hence none of the other lights are coming on.
If you get the help of a competent Washing Machine engineer they will solve your problem, without having to replace the whole machine.

Fault code

E90 indicates a communications error between the user interface board (control panel) and the main circuit board. If you take the top off the machine (power off first!), then stand in front of it and look at the front left you'll see the main board and a blue multi-stranded cable coming out of it and going into the control panel. 99 times out 100 this is the culprit, if there's a poor connection at either end then this generates E90. You need to remove the control panel (screws behind soap drawer and plastic clips along the top), disconnect the blue cable, give the connector a bit of a squeeze with your pliers to tighten the connection, do the same to the other end on the main board, refit everything and away you go....hope this helps...yes I used to work for them

Zanussi FJ1254 W - Machine does not fill

Yes if you remove your soap draw and take a look inside you will see that there is all residue built on the top part of the internal draw, Either you can jet wash it off or replace the soap draw,,

this should solve your problem.. if that does not work then one of your solinoid valves at the back is faulty...

Drum is not moving

It sounds like the drum drive is broken ... could be a belt at the back of the machine or it could be gear driven ... most likley a belt... take off cover on back of machine to see if the belt is broken and replace if necessary. Also could be pump but that is probably the last thing to go wrong pumps rarely ever fail.

Heating element

you have to remove the back half of the case by removing the lid, screws at the sides (bottom) and from the bottom rear. then from the top centre. slide the rear case backwards by seperating the hose bracket and the element is at the bottom of the outer tub.
