If you don't find windows 7 try the vista drivers.Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "ASUSSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Sorry to say but this motherboard don't have support for Windows 7 that is the reason some of the drivers for it are not working , Asus did not release driver for this that will work with Windows 7 and they are also not listed to be compatible with it even though some drivers will work but the function itself still wont work. Best option here to make everything working is to go back to Windows XP.

simply go to the downloads tab at the bottom and select your operating system(version of windows if you are using windows), and select audio and Lan to download the appropriate drivers.

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Try going into sound select and test reinstall driver off Asus website..if you installed new windows or update drivers may not work right...see if you can roll back driver in device manager ..if not lookup your laptop model and reinstall...
