is it possible that you may have plugged the speakers into the microphone or audio input jack on the computer instead of the speaker/headphone/audio output jack?

You do not take speakers apart to clean a volume control Do you know what you are talking about? I do not think so.

1. turn off the headphones
2. turn on bluetooth on g1
3. hold down the power button on headphones until u see the red and green light flash back and forth. (may take 8 seconds or so)
4 search for devices on g1
5. pair them. if it ask for code it... 0000 (4 zeros)
