Canon BJ-30 Bubble jet printer F-12 error
Hi, According to my BJ-30 & BJC-70 user manual, if F12 is blinking, it is required for this Error code to get in touch with a Canon Service Centre. I had this in the past and being curious I removed the printer chassis from case the and found the problem to be a loose ribbon cable in the connector on the main board from the touch pad circut board . I also had the identical problem with my BJC-70. These printers are very reliable and compact, it seems to be a problem which I think comes about from these printers being so portable. It took me about 15 minutes to fix the problem for which I have made a small modification to hold the cable in place. Having said this, it may not necessarly be your problem but it is a starting point. Canon to my mind have not made another portable printer this good, so if you value it and can find a trustworthy technician get it fixed. If you want further info contact me here.

Need printer carriage for bj 30
Hi. The cartridge you need is the BCI-10Bk. It is available in a 3 pack here http://www.staples.com/STAPLES-Black-Ink-Tanks-Compatible-with-Canon-BCI-10BK-3-Pack/product_510010?cmArea=PMM for $22.79
Is the Canon BJ-30 a color printer?
Nope. Canon BJ-30 is not a color printer.
It is same as BJC-70 but only the color printing ability is not available in it.
BJ-30 is Black & White inkjet printer with max 360x360 dpi.
Hope this helps.
My Canon BJ-30 works fine with my 32-bit Windows
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Have you installed the printer drivers on the 64 bit vista machine? If not then follow this procedure to install the drivers on the vista computer---
Windows XP
Home/Pro/x64 Installation Instructions
1. From the Windows Start menu, select “Control Panel”.
2. Select “Printers and Other Hardware” and then click [Add
Printer].
3. When the “Add Printer Wizard” appears, click [Next].
4. Remove the check mark from “Automatically Detect and
Install my Plug and Play Printer’ box and then click [Next].
5. Select the port the printer is connected to and then
click [Next].
6. From the left pane, select Canon from the list of
manufacturers and then select your product from the list of printers on the
right.
Note: If your product is not listed on the right it may not
be supported by the operating system (in-box) driver. In this case, please
visit the Canon support page for your product.
7. Click [Next] and then click [Next] again when the “Name
your Printer” screen appears.
8. Click [Next] if you wish to print a test page.
9. If the printer is connected and turned on, click
[Finish]. (You may be prompted to insert your Windows installation CD-ROM at
this point. If so, insert the CD-ROM and click OK.)
If the drivers of printer have already been installed then try printing without using the Belkin parallel printer adapter. If you are able to print out without using Belkin adapter then the issue is with the adapter else it is with the computer.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks

Grabbing paper
Hi, This is Roger D
There is a tool called a "Manual Feed Guide" made by Canon for this problem. The part number is MG-10 not sure if it is still available. It is usable in the BJC 85 as well.
I have one, sadly not for sale as I have two of this series of printer BJ30 and BJC 75.
It comes with an instruction manual as well. It uses plain water on the guide to clean the roller. It would be better to ring Canon than trying via the net as thats how I got mine.
What is error code meaning E000021-0400 on canon C5240A
The error code E000021-0400 on a Canon C5240A typically indicates a problem with the fixing assembly temperature sensor. The fixing assembly is the part of the printer that fuses toner onto the paper, and it relies on a temperature sensor to ensure that the temperature is maintained within a certain range.
The specific error code E000021-0400 usually indicates that the temperature sensor has detected a problem with the temperature reading. This could be caused by a malfunctioning sensor, a problem with the wiring, or a problem with the fixing assembly itself.
To resolve this issue, you may need to replace the temperature sensor or the entire fixing assembly. However, before doing so, you can try resetting the printer by turning it off and on again. If the error persists, you may need to contact a qualified technician for assistance.
My canon ir 3300 print install all windows butPrinting font change
There could be several reasons why the font in your printed document is different than the font you selected in your Word document. Here are a few things you can check:
- Printer Driver Settings: Make sure that the printer driver settings are set to print the document with the font you want. Check the printer driver settings to see if there is an option to "Use TrueType Fonts" or "Download Fonts". Enabling these options can help ensure that the printer is using the correct fonts.
- Font Embedding: If you are using a custom font, make sure that it is embedded in the Word document. To check this, open the Word document, click on "File" > "Options" > "Save" and make sure that the "Embed fonts in the file" option is selected.
- Font Compatibility: Some fonts are not compatible with all printers. Make sure that the font you are using is compatible with your printer. You can check your printer's user manual or manufacturer's website for more information on compatible fonts.
- Printer Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the printer firmware can help resolve compatibility issues and improve print quality.
If none of these solutions work, you may want to consider contacting Canon's technical support team for further assistance. They can provide additional troubleshooting steps or help you identify any hardware issues that may be affecting the print quality.
