I don't know if this is a sign of the times but ?????????? I'm sorry that you had to clean all of the blood out of the machine. You should replace all of the switches etc. You can buy used parts for these machines on Ebay really cheap now.

I hope that you do not have to work on any more machines filled with blood.

Can you get an internet connection ?? you will have to open up your network connections to check the state of your internet connection click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be fire walled Make sure your isp provider is allowed in your fire wall settings your network adapter might not work, and you do not have network connectivity or any related network functionality.

Device Manager may list your network adapter as not working and as not having a driver installed.

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down network adapters + expand Ethernet driver if you see a yellow ? ! question or exclamation mark or red x means you need to install/update driver right click to install driver

the driver could be on the motherboard disk or the one supplied by your ISP internet service supplier or you might need to download it

This error is not the same as a CMOS Checksum Error, which refers to corrupted values of the CMOS settings, the ones you set through the BIOS setup program. This error means the contents of the BIOS code itself are damaged.

Try the following steps:

right click on my computer, select properties
click hardware tab, then click device manager

in the device manager, click + sign next to cd-dvd rom devices.
you will see cd-dvd driver listed here.
right click on it and select un-install
driver will be gone

now open the following website and run fixit software

it works for XP as well. if you are comfortable, you can delete upper and/or lowerfilters manually from registry editor. i hope it will work
