Hello Debkopper, Hi!, No sound output can be several things. so lets do this one at a time. No sound means: 1. mute or low volume setting. check your volume controls. If you can find the volume controls, 2. look at the lower right side of your monitor, (if you are using Windows7 or xp) you should see a speaker ICON. click it and set the volume. If you have no speaker ICON, then 3. you need the driver software to activate the sound section of your PC. if you have the CD of the PC motherboard, use the CD to install the driver. IF you have a SOUND CARD, locate the CD that comes with it when you purchase it. If the sound card comes with your PC. locate its CD driver. 4. NO CD, then browse the internet to download the driver software. Here are info of what you need jot this down..... the motherboard make and model. (If sound card then the make and model) 5. After download install the driver.
IF you cannot find the driver or simply tired to find what it is, BUY a USB type SOUND CARD. plug it on a spare USB port, then your done, instant sound!!!
