you can get support on this site : CREATIVE DRIVERS

Creative Labs... | Answered on Aug 19, 2018

Creative are known for being bad at providing driver support. The latest for the EV1938 I could find is this:

But I'm not sure it will work in Windows 7. You might need to get a new Sound Card. You can even get an USB sound card if you don't want to open the computer. They are preatty cheap.

These are all the available drivers for your card and does not include win 7 http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=1&subCatID=207&prodID=9117&prodName=4.1%20Digital&subCatName=Others&CatName=Sound+Blaster

They did issue this statement on your card. The product you have selected has been classified as 'End of Service Life'.
Support for such products is limited to online materials, such as Knowledgebase Solutions, drivers, application updates and product documentations available on the Creative Customer Support website.
Customers are also welcome to participate in our discussion forums to obtain further information.

Might be time for a new card.

You need to go the HP support website and download the audio driver for your computer.

Also it may be worth checking to see if the volume hasn't been muted or turned right down. Click on the Volume control icon that looks like a speaker in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Hello Marcello,

You just may be out of luck for a Win7 driver for this card. Please refer to this article:

You may have to upgrade to a new card.

The only other thing I might suggest is to try http://www.driverdoctor.com/ However they do charge if you use their drivers.

Thanks for using Fixya.

PS> Your question was worded just fine. Better than most.

I researched your question for you I have some bad news, according to Creative Labs they are no longer supporting your sound card they posted a bulletin here.

Either click on the link or copy and paste it into your web browser to read it first hand.

I do have a suggestion for you though for a newer card if you go to www.geeks.com you may find a newer card cheaper and it will be more current then the one you currently have now.

I hope this helps you out if so please leave me some positve feedback.
