CT4780 messes audio with 3GB RAM?
you cannot use un-balanced memory in a pc.
if you have 2 x 1 GB memory you should only add more 1 GB cards.
The computer will be "confused" by mixing memory sizes.

U didn't provide detail information on it. If you install card in right way and right driver, it may work. Otherwise the card is physically damaged.
What are the jumper settings
Jumper JP1 is used for the selection of the SPDIF channel from the DIGITAL OUT connector. This jumper must not be tempered with.

How will find sound driver number in my pc
Hi,
To find the sound driver version number, right-click on My Computer>select Properties>select Hardware>click on Device Manager>click on + sign next to Sound,Video and Game controllers> right-click on Audio Drivers>select Properties>click on Driver tab. Now you can see the version number of the installed driver.
