What kind of computer do you have? The trick here is first to get the computer on the internet by finding out what kind of network card is installed on a internet connected computer do one of the following
1> If its a dell go to http://www.dell.com/support and click on download drivers enter your service tag number Download the network driver to a flash drive and install Connect to the internet and repeat the above process to install the other drivers.
Most manufacture websites will have a download page for the drivers but you can also google the make model and operating system drivers for example google acer aspire 1000 xp network driver.
if you post your make model and operating system I can help you better.

I think your missing your ethernet drivers try the following:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r4871388-installing_missing_drivers_free_charge

If that fails, Try restarting your modem and router or whatever you use. And also check that your connection isnt being blocked by any firewalls or anti-virus ( temp disable them )

I can't see any wirless network,when i search for

Hello,

The first thing that I would advise you to do is,

Uninstall the WiFi Adapter totally from the System first,

(For WIndows XP)

Right-Click on my computer Icon, Properties-->Hardware-->Device Manager,

select the WiFi Adapter under network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall

Next, Click on Action on that Same page, and select "scan for hardware changes",

This will bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Wifi Adapter).

(For WIndows Vista)

Right-Click on my computer Icon, go to

Properties-->>Device Manager, select the WiFi Adapter under network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall

Next, Click on Action on that Same page, and select "scan for hardware changes",

This will also bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Wifi Adapter).

After this, Press your Wifi button on the system and ensure that it is On, then Scan for wireless networks.

It should connect like that.

Try this out and kindly let me know how it goes,

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using Fixya.

I need the drivers for the ethernet controller and

For the D620, you would go to the following website. You'll need to select the operating system that you're running, and then go to the "Network" section of drivers and download the drivers there. There may be several different drivers since the D620 came with several different network adapters - It's most likely the Broadcom - Driver 57xx Gigabit Integrated Ethernet Controller.

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&os=WNET&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=LATITUDE D620

Download the file and run it - it will walk you through the installation.
