Replace the battery in the keyboard and mouse.

My advice would be to put new batteries in the keyboard and see if that works, failing that, pick up a wired keyboard and mouse to log in to your system then re-connect the wireless set to re-install the drivers.

did you get a cd with your product
if you did install the drivers that are on that.

Replace the battery that is inside it.

Well, the first step to be taken is Disconnect the keyboard and the mouse from the pc (receiver/transmitter), if possible remove the battery and leave it outside for few minutes. Restart your computer and reconnect them, you have to also follow the steps that you just mentioned Step 1 and Step 2, as soon as they are connected, you'll see the lights blinking on the mouse/keyboard as well as on that receiver/sensor. Wait for few seconds and press the "connect" button on the mouse to get it connected, if nothing happens, follow the steps below:

try installing drivers from the site maybe threre is a new firmware

Probably you have to install the drivers for the keyboard.

just go to control pannel , select bluetoth option , paur your dell device with the system you want to work and it will work fine.

no ther is not requirement of drivers , as go to blue tooth icon detect the device pair it and it will start working

batteries fresh? properly inserted? try reloading the software ... use a standard keyboard to get stuff going again.

make sure the reciever is in close to the mouse and key board mine fell back behind the computer and I had the same problem.wireless signal could not reach reciever

You can use it on a PC for sure. That keyboard was meant for Dells but it will work on a compaq as well. As far as I know, it won't work with a Macbook but you can hook it up anyway to see if the macbook has built in drivers for it since the dell website doesn't have any drivers for the MAC.

Try a different keyboard, if a different keyboard works properly then your original one is defective. If another keybaord does the same thing then its a setting in the operating system for the keyboard that needs to be changed.
