Many projectors shut down if they cannot find anything attached to them. Make sure you have a computer attached and sending an image out to it before you hit the projector reset button again. It's a bit like the chicken and the egg since some laptops won't send an image out the cable unless it senses a projector, and the projector shuts down if it does not detect an incoming signal fast enough.

I had the same problem with my acer x112 , and after checking everything i found out that the problem was the Color Wheel (not necessarily being broken) , it looked new but it was the problem , hope this helps

if this is a recent computer it might not have a cd rom drive if it is a laptop / notebook . Suggest downloading the whatever printer make and model with whatever operating system driver software. try searching {model number} {operatng system} driver download. otherwise you might be able to use a external usb cd rom drive

it means the projector locks on this source type and there is no such type of input signal found, so you need to try new input source type . means : if you use for example VGA, try to use other input type such DVI , HDMI

problem with hard disk drive laptop not detecting any hard drive. open back cover remove hard drive and put it again. otherwise change the hard disk reinstall os and drivers.
