Hello,
We just got a new Dell Inspiron 530 computer that uses Vista. We are using our original printer, Dell Photo 926 all in one. We can print, copy, but it does not scan. When you request a scan, it seems to take a couple of minutes and then an error message comes back on the printer stating "Scan request failed". With our old Dell, we were able to get the scanning to work. It used Windows XP if that matters. I uninstalled the printer and then reinstalled it again. Any ideas for HELP would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sue
Go to control panel, scaners and cameras and use that to start the scan

Hi, is it possible to connect the Dell V305 all-in-one printer to a MAC and if so, please could you tell me where I could download the driver from.
Thanks.
HI,
The driver can be downloaded from: Driver Update. Use their tool and make required updates.
wish you best of luck

diagram Series9 MK991 Dell ink cartridge refill instructions , What hole for
what ink . dont now what ink goes in what and where
Go to this webpage: http://www.ldproducts.com/Dell-Ink,Photo-all-in-one,926,Ink-Cartridge,3234,printer.html Click on the links for InTec Refill Kit for Dell MW175 Black and InTec Refill Kit for Dell MW174 Color. Scroll down to Specifications and click on the Instruction Video link for each. That should help some.

I have replaced the colour cartridge 4 times on my printer. New cartridge lasts a few months (not a question of ink) and then shows incorrect right (colour) cartridge error. Solution when I referred to manufacturer was to send a new cartridge. The printer is down again. Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Here is a possible solution to the dell printer BS when I bought replacement cartridge for the black I didn't want or need the color. When I attempted to replace it would say unsupported cartridge on the computer screen and right cartrige error or w/ever it said. who cares . It is a S C A M but if you only need black try this... Take a hammer and smash the printer NO DON"T ... Roofer joke. Seriously though just remove the color cartridge and snap it shut empty with the black " replacement cartridge " snapped in and your good to go in black and white. I bought my replacement cartridge at
( S T A P L E S ) no one has one better. good luck sorry if it doesnt work for you I'm only saying that it worked for me. P.S. Thank you and "DUDE I'M NOT GETTING A DELL"!!

Installed a new cartridge, got a "left cartridge error" message. Fiddled with it for a while, ended up getting an "error 1203" message. Unplugged and replugged the machine from the power outlet, am now getting "left cartridge error" message again. I have removed and replaced the cartridge about three times, no help at all.
I had the same prob..... I fixed it I took a clean soft rag sprayed Windex on it wiped off the ic type board on the front of the cartridge and also the board on the inside that the cartridge rest up against,,, turned it off and on put a copy under the scanner and kaabam it printed a month of pulling my hair out it works

my printer just quit printing, went to control panel, then hardware and sound, then to printers. the printer book on the 926 printer said to .make sure pause printing is not selected ,mine is on pause printing and I can't seem to clear the pause away. your suppose to be able to right click and clear that option, I just can't get the option cleared. I was able to delete the built up printing jobs, just can't get rid of pause.
if you can't get it off "pause", then re-install software.

I have new cartridges in it and it still doesn't work. What do I do?
I posted this initial problem....and now, here's how I believe it works....but don't quote me!! Dell has some sort of electronic thingy on the top of the cartridge underneath the label. I pulled one off to try and refil it. Refil it I did....but the printer was having none of it saying that I was out of ink. So...that is when I bought brand new fresh cartridges from Dell. As of my initial posting - I couldn't get the new colour cartridge to work ... so emailed Dell who said it was a faulty cartridge and sent another one the next day....it worked perfectly. THEREFORE.....I summise...that once you buy a Dell printer....you are buggered - basically. You have to buy direct from them. I have gone on ebay and other shops..and bought refilled ones...buy they either don't work...or the quality is rubbish. Subsequent printers that I have bought - or will buy...will be anything other than Dell! Sorry if that doesn't sound very positive...likewise if anyone does find a way rough this.....let me know....as lumbered with this printer now till it totally breaks down....then can buy a new one (not Dell!)

my printer ran out of black ink; I installed a new cartridge and it did not recognize it. I continuted to use the colour cartridge; have installed a new one; it does not recognize it either. When I try to print the moniter comes up with: "UNSUPPORTED CARTRIDGE". I have tried on multiple occasions, removing and reinstalling the cartridges; nd also making certain the tapes were removed from the cartridges. What exactly is wrong and how do I fix it? Please and Thanks so much!
Set printer to print multiple copies. Put in less amount of paper. While printer is waiting for more paper, change cartridge.

I'm trying to re-install my Dell Aio 926 printer with the official cd that came with the whole Dell package. After the setup, I try to print a test page, but nothing prints! When I open up the "All-in-One center," a message box keeps popping up saying "The Dell Photo AIO Printer 926 printer driver is not installed. Please reinstall your printer driver."
Hi, The problem here is that the CD has an older version of
the driver which has some known issues. Few steps will be required to fix this.
