FIRST, if this code comes back. Have a technician look at it DO NOT CONTINUE TO RESET the code!!!! AS this is for the Hot Part called the FUSER. It can catch on fire! And that will ruin a perfectly good day!!!!


1. Turn OFF the main power switch.
2. Turn main power switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3. Touch [Trouble Reset].
4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and it has been reset.
5. After turning off the main power switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after and check if the machine starts correctly.

Did you replace the developer or did you replace the developer unit and developer????? Of course you replaced the entire unit right????? Because if you attempted to dump the old developer and add new Its not going to work.

This is going to be a two step process:

With the machine on go to service mode. Select System 1, Problem Unit Isolation, Find ADF, Select Unset, (This next step ensure you wait ten 10 seconds between) Power off the machine, 10 seconds later turn it on.

Once ready to copy. Conduct the same procedure again this time select ADF select SET this time. Power off a ten seconds later Power on. If the problem keeps coming back have a tech come out.

you replace the image unit when asking for a new one do so if not it will cause problem when you need the machine most

Check the tray door for broken tab that would tell the copier the door is close. might have been broken or the sensor was knocked out of place bye slamming the door.

You need to change the thermistor on the fuser unit.

if ur using defalut settings it is
set it to a4 paper and tray 1 or 2
