Aculaser cx17 can't print color from computer,

This issue could be with the ink cartridge inside, if this is color toner make sure you not using refilled toner. This happens when there is a color demand but detected no color in the unit, if there is color then there is a issue with that color unit.Let me know Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620

Printer leaves black horizontal lines

If you haven't already ran the head cleaner function try it first. If that doesn't fix it then you should try cleaning your print head. You can try windex and about 140+ water to try and cut all the ink clogged in the head. This cleaning method I have found out isn't always the solution and usually only lasts for a short period of time. While you in the printer look for any loose paper or foreign matter that could be causing the line. It has been my experience to just go ahead and spring for a new print head and get back to business. They're a little high but well worth it in the long run. I'm not familiar with the exact printer model you have but as printers in general go if it has a drum instead of cartridges you may have to go into it and clean it out. Check the screens and for clogging and also inspect the drum for any foreign matter caught in or around it that is making the line. A printer works in reverse order, when it shines light through the paper it is set to darken the entire sheet but light that is reflected back my mirrors prevents it from darkening the places that light is reflected back and therefore it only darkens the places where there is no light. If one of the reflecting mirrors has a spot on it and not sending light back it will cause a dark line, or if anything is in it's path that blocks the light it will do the same thing. Check this closely, to be sure the mirrors and screens are in no way obstructing the path of the returning light. The only other solution, which is highly unlikely is one of the LED that produce the light is burnt out but this seldom if ever happens. Most are wired where if one goes out they all go out, although I have ran across two that had one LED burned out. shgill

REPLACE PHOTOCONDUCTOR

Yes. Replace the photoconductor (drum). You will find them on the net but have the headache tablets close by when you see the prices. It probably cheaper to buy a new machine than just the photoconductor.

Aculaser C1100 After replacing the black

A print cartridge (or a drum unit if it's separate from toner container) has a thing called wiper blade; it's essentially a rubber (sillicone) strip that wipes any "leftover" toner off the drum. When this strip is positioned wrong or faulty it gives symptoms similar to what you describe.
Sometimes it develops such behavior after long usage (especially if the cartridge was repeatedly refilled with toner), but in rare cases it may come like this new, due to manufacturing defect. I had this a couple of times in my career.
If you take out the cartridge and in subdued light (not to expose the drum to too much light) try to push the gear wheel so that the drum revolves (don't ever touch the shiny drum surface with fingers!) you can look at the drum; if you see toner streaks instead of a clean drum then you need to claim this cartridge as defective with the supplier. You should get a replacement without problems.
