001001D is a servo parameter error.
Most likely it's because you moved
the carriage off the capping station and a sensor is sensing the error.
If the print head is still on the left, turn the printer off and back
on. If the print head is in its normal docking position, move it to the
left and turn printer off and back on.
Things you should Check:
- Check the basics first:Is the encoder attached and correctly routed through the optical sensor
- Is the encoder strip clean - if there is a splodge on it, this will result in error
- If you have done maintenance, check all the connections you made are good
00010004 Motor encoder check error
00010004 error relates to the encoder strip for the carriage motor (The
encoder strip is like a piece of graph paper and the head has an eye
that reads how many lines it passes). This is so the machine know
exactly where the head is at any point
The error means that the
machine is not correctly reading the encoder impulses. The encoder, eye or the circuit board may be broken even the cable could be faulty. It could be that you have done
maintenance that one of the connectors has been replaced with incorrect
polarity.
There is no one answer I can give you. If
you need further help with this, there a good section in the service
manual that gives a sequence of areas to test to pin down the fault.
