The printer is install but

Please read the users manual for printer compatibility. What operating system is compatible for this printer. If not, parallel port is the quickest way to connect to printer, just install the printer software and it is ready to print. But if you are using USB port. sometimes you need usb driver to be able to connect to printer. Check for usb port driver for this printer before installing.

Is it possible to use my epson TM-T88II with

Epson R360. Printer error. Please see your documentation?I have an Epson R360 and attempted to print a cd. As I put the tray in the printer didn't respond, when I looked at the screen the display was showing a message, " Printer Error. Please see your documentation" It advises to turn off and turn on again which I have done, several times. It was working directly before this as I had printed my daughters homework.

I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them to see if it would make any difference, but nothing. My printer just keeps telling me this message. When I power it up there is a lot of noise coming from inside the printer, the ink carriage is moving but not a great deal. Any help advice is appreciated.

Have epson pos thermal printer with wrong interface

RS232 and Centronics interfaces are incompatible. You need to connect the printer to a SERIAL port not a PARALELL

Epson TM 88II not working with Win XP SP2

Are you confident this is using a parallel interface?

The ones I used to work with used a 25pin to 9pin serial connection. The 25 pin connection on the printer is the same as a parrallel port on a PC, but if you think of a normal parallel lead the printer should use a 'centronics' connector to conform to this. I think you may need a 25pin to 9pin serial lead which aren't very common but plenty of people should still make them.

The cutting bade is getting stuck

Either, the blade has a lot of scraps of paper jammed under it, or the blade is slightly bent (usually caused by people forcing the lid open because the blade remained 'out'). The safe way to get the blade back in is to slide the front panel down and move the little wheel until the traingle appears in the window.  Or it could be a faulty micro switch which turns the motor on and off, the cutting mechanisms are very fiddly though and have some minute screws which are hard to get back in. The microswitches have to be soldered on also. If paper isn't the cause it would seek to get it repaired professionally.

When you are facing it. Open it and on the right hand side where Led lights located. Below it and inside are there is a dip switch cover that you should be able to remove. Hope this helps.

Our kitchen's printer is reading as "offline". The printer is making intermittent printing sounds but no paper is being fed through the top.

Your paper roll is empty but if it's not the paper sensor is not working. Send it to a technician if sensor is bad or buy a new printer.
