Is media transparent? Epson paper sensor think that no paper. Put white stiker at top left and right of media (about 1 cm height and 2 cm width). It's for tricky sensor.

Problem with ink flow. Use original ink or compatible? If original, ink will out and dried after head cleaning many times. If compatible, problem is ink quality. When head cleaning, ink flow to head by suction of head cleaning mech. If use to print, ink at head spray out, but ink ank ink tank not flowing good to head.

What is the error message? SCANNER ERROR?
If that is what you getting, turn printer off then open scanner cover- on the left hand side there is a toggle log for scanner, position it to unlock then turn printer on then try scanning/copying again.

if your having a different error message pls indicate the exact error that you are getting.

from here u can download...

check at the rear part of your printer there a backdoor latch there..
open it..and you can get the jammed paper easily..
if there is a pieces of paper left..you can get it by force..
rid the paper into pieces and clean the rollers of your printer..
and restart you printer..

Hi, that problems occur when you are not cleaning the printer heads. Epson has a utilty for cleaning heads and font alignment you must use it. Or just download the utility tools for Epson

the main issue here is that your printer don't recognize your new black cartridge.
try shutdown your printer and on it again or long press on your power button ..
and your also to open close your main door of your printer..
so that it will recognize the full black cartridge.

Chances are some parts of the printer are at the end of its life and needs replacement. Suggesting to get a new printer instead than having it repaired.

Possible hardware failure, unfortunately.
Please disconnect the printer from all the devices connected to it. Plug it in directly to a working electrical outlet which means you have to bypass the surge protector. Turn it back on.
Please log on to epson.com. Go to drivers and support page and click on help me find a service center to the right of the page to find the local servicers near to your area.

try freeing up the paper before you insert it into the printer. an easy way to do this so to "fan" the paper by holding one end and letting each paper on the other end be released one by one. 
another thing is that you may be inserting the paper too much inside the paper tray. try inserting the paper slowly and stop at the first slightest notch you feel

A big recommendation is to take it to a service center.

As a service center it takes us about 1 hour. You need to remove the upper cover assembly, the scanner assembly, control panel and wire harness. Back cover needs to come out. The cleaning tube needs to be removed. Unscrew the printer mechanism, and then take it out. Replace the pads, do everything in reverse, go to an epson service center and have them reset the counter for you.

Hello sir; First thing have to do is make sure you put the cartridge in right way, after you installed the cartridge you have to press resume key.

If the paper isnt being pulled in the chances are that you have a foreign object in the paper path. First of all turn the printer off & disconnect all cables. Turn the printer upside down and give a good shake, with luck the blockage should fall out. If not then you need to be a bit brave, make sure the print carriage is parked fully to the right and out of the way. You will need an A4 (approx) sized piece of stiff cardboard such as the backing from an A4 note pad. Insert this into the paper feed locating it between the feed rollers on the R/H side. Then push quite firmly to overcome the spring pressure, when you feel it push through about a half inch stop and open the printer to see what is being pushed through. Push the card fully through and retrieve the foreign object (I have found everything from paperclips, curtain hooks and even a golf tee!). Push the card through fully and out of the printer. Always remove paper jams etc, in the direction of the paper feed whenever possible as pulling anything backwards can dislodge or break the sensor flags.
