Hi,

Have you restored it to default via the printer front panel menu settings ? if not, try it once.

Follow these steps as well

1. Clean the print heads.

2. Run the Print Head Alignment Utility.

3. Made my choices and selected "realignment."

This should fix the issue.

Red light is on.

Try this
Remove the front cover just pull on it slightly and it will come off it is only held there by tape. Remove the 4 screws on the back of the LCD screen and you will get to the circuit board remove flat cable make sure you mark it so you put it back on right. On the board there will be a small fuse it is maked F on the fuse and F1 next to fuse it is located next to the biggest black flat circuit. it is hard to see but is there. You can solder a small wire across this or put a blop of solder across it but be carefull to not get solder on anthing else. put your display back in and it should work fine.

The menu screen does not work and I can not use

Hi!
Seems that the LCD screen of the printer is malfunctioning. Honestly it will be best if you will purchase a new one. One way to resolve the issue is by sending it to an Authorized Service Center in which may cause more.
Hope this helps. Cheers!

MY printer stopped working from

Hello

Large photos are printed differently than regular photos.

Photos that have large resolutions or are best when printed in larger sizes are sometimes printed on multiple pages. Printing the photo on two or more pages requires setting up the printing options so that the printer recognizes how the photo should print and which areas to stop printing on each page.

Open the photo in iphoto

Select "File" and scroll down the list until reaching "Print". Click on "Print" and wait for the printing set up options. Some programs require selecting "Set up" or "Print set up" instead of "Print." Make sure the set up options are brought up according to the program.

Select "Time Imageable Table" or similar options in the program. If there is not an option with a similar title, look over the various titles and any pictures that come with the titles and see if the pictures show multiple pages or only a single page. Click on the options that allow printing one photo on multiple pages.

Select overlap options, which give margins so that connecting the pages forms the picture. Overlap around 1/2 inch or so.

Print the photo. The number of pages should match the set up options selected under the imageable table.

Parts inside your printer are

Most likely the waste ink counter has reached its programmed limit. You can replace or clean the waste ink pads. You need to disassemble the printer from the top; the waste ink pads absorb the ink during cleaning cycles and when you do edge-to-edge printing. Have plenty of newspaper or other material to keep the excess ink from spreading. Remove the pads, blot off most of the ink and then hold them under running water until it stays clear. Blot the excess ink from the area where the pads rest as well. Dry the pads (you can use a hair dryer to speed up the process). Then reassemble the printer. If you want to replace the pads, contact Epson Service.

Fill out the form here: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/InkPadsForm.jsp?cookies=no&com.broadvision.session.new=Yes and get the Ink Pad Reset utility. You will need to provide your printer's serial number. Run the reset program (Windows computer).

Please note that the programmed timing on the waste ink is based on the expected life of the printer. You may have additional failures with the printer in the near future.

I hope this helps.

We're getting this Service Required message -

the parts most likely to be replaced with such a message are the waste ink pads. (sponge pads that collect the ink that is used for print head cleanings). these pads are difficult to reach inside the printer (full dissassembly is necessary) and doing so is a VERY dirty job. i suggest contacting a repair center near you.

My Epson Stylus Photo RX 600 had been working fine

when the machine is powered off and power cable has been removed, try removing all dust and foreign objects from the card reader with compressed air. disconnect all unnecessary cables and retry the print/scan job. if this doesn't work, either the card reader or the system board is defective (most likely the card reader)

Your printer should automatically show digital readings without hooking it up to a computer, but it is always best to install drivers within the computer for proper operation. Check your owners manual for troubleshooting tips that will clarify how the display will look at each step in the process.
