I had the same problem. I'm not sure but I think I replaced the cartridges when the printer was on because I turned the printer off and removed one of the cartridges. When I turned the printer back on it recognized that cartridge but not the others. I turned the printer off again, rmoved all cartiridges and put them back in when the printer was still off. When I turned the printer on again I had no problems. So...try turning off the printer, rmove all cartridges, then put them back in and restart printer. Hope this works for you .

When printers aren't used for a long time, the jets clog up. You should run a test page once a week to keep the jets clear. Also make sure you have the cartridges in the right spots. If you can remove the cartridge and then the print head, you can run them under hot water until the water runs clear. Then dry and blot onto kitchen towel, wet and blot until no more colour comes off. There are also settings in Properties/Maintenance where you can do deep cleaning, and also print a test page that shows which inkjet cartridges are not printing correctly.

Hi!
Is the printer driver installed in a correct way and it is the correct version for your system? Try to uninstall it and reinstall it downloading the latest correct version from the Epson site!
If you wanna print a nozzle check try this:
1- Power the printer off
2- While holding the page key down, press the power key, DON'T release the page key, hold it down for 5-10 seconds
the printer will print the nozzle check

You can also do a cleaning cycle by holding down the ink key untill the cleaning process starts.

Did you try this on other PCs?
Let me know! :)

Best regards!

Turn the printer on.
Lift the lid, to expose the print-carriage and the print-heads.
Wait a few seconds, and the print-head (holding the ink-cartridges) will slide over to some point where you can remove the cartridge.
Push on the "holder" surrounding the ink-cartridge, to "unlock" it, and gently lift the ink-cartridge out. Insert the replacement, "lock" it in place, and close the lid.

The paper types available in the driver are dependent on which type of black ink cartridge is loaded in the printer. If the Photo Black ink is loaded, you should have various glossy paper choices. If the Matte Black ink is loaded, you will have a choice of plain or Matte paper types. Once the cartridge is switched, you will get the corresponding paper choices.

That is a maintenance error. It means the protection counter has reached it's limit.
