Lifebook C2340 shuts off on its own
Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail. A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust. Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.
My lifebook series c is a 2001 model that is wayyyyy to slow.
LOL, maybe you are low on disk space. Click Start/My Computer and right click on your local c drive to see how much space is available. If not much space is left that will certainly slow you down. Also if the hard drive needs to be defragged that will slow you down, but you've got to have enough space left (15%) to run a defrag. Also you might have a virus or infection that is slowing you down. So you might want to clean the computer by scans.Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download andinstall malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When thesite opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do notclick the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the GuiInterface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version orDecline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run aQUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be inred. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad textdocument will open up showing you the results. You can close the textdocument and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTEDRESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When itfinishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot yourmachine.
How can a revive a fujitsu life book c series
The first thing to do will be to try and recharge the battery because definitely that will be dead. After the battery has charged for a bit try powering the unit on and see if it functions fine (At this point it should if the unit was in good condition when it was dropped four years ago unless it was poorly stored).
Hope this solution has been helpful?
Keyborad won't work (but remote keyboard via USB port does)
Ok, first questuin, did you or somebody drop the computer or spilled any liquid on it?. The cause for a keyboard failure is very common in those two circumstances. If you spilled something on it and do not dare to take it apart, take to somebody who's specialized on such repairs to look at the problem and possible damage (computer technician most likely). If dropping it cause the problem, it may be a disconnected communication card. You have to take it apart and get to it and resecure it again by pressing it. You can find manuals online on how to disassemble it and get to it. Good luck.
My Lifebook C2340 won't recognize it's own
Does it show the device in the BIOS? If not then there could be a problem with the motherboard hardware. If it is not showing up in the BIOS then I would first verify that the power connector for the drive has voltage. Also verify that the slave/master jumpers are correct if the drive has any. You could also try downloading the BIOS update from Fujitsu and see if after updating the BIOS it brings the cd-rom drive detection back. If the BIOS is seeing the drive but Windows is not then the problem could be with the Windows drivers or installation. You could try going into the control panel for windows and use the "detect new hardware function" and see if Windows detects the drive.
Fujitsu Lifebook C2340 will not read CD Drive
can you read any CDs at all? If not, try using a CD-ROM disc lens cleaner. if you can't do that, try a q-tip with some windex to lightly clean the DVD/CD lens. Use the other end of the q-tip to dry off any excess solvent.
