I have a brand new Fujitsu Lifebook AH512 laptop,

If it's brand new take it back to where you bought it from and tell them. Don't try to fix it within the 12 month warranty - that's what it's there for!

Although I have excellent connectivity

You should go to the BIOS. Make a note of the boot order. Set the first boot device to cdrom.
Once you see a prompt that says press any key to contintue to boot to cd press the Enter Key Once
When you have a prompt that says welcome to windows press R to Repair press F3 to quit and press Enter to create a fresh new copy of windows.

Follow any prompts as required and when you have finished don't forget to change the BIOS boot order, back to as it was.

There you have it, a fresh operating system. All it may need now is the drivers installing and the software re installing.

I hope this is the information that you require.

When I switch my wireless connection sith on at

Use another machine to download latest drivers from the following site: http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/com/support/downloads.html Search for
Device Driver - Intel® PRO/Wireless LAN 2200 BG - LIFEBOOK S7010
or alternatively use the Deskupdate to auto update all drivers for your S7010
Save the zip files to a USB key. Turn the wireless connection off using the switch at the front of your laptop. Unzip and install the new drivers. You should be good to go from here.
Good luck.

I have dell laptop.Cursor is showing. caplock on

No display? but you have an mouse cursor showing? So you must have an display and it is locking on startup of the OS. Do you have an bootable cd? If not lets try to start it up in safe mode..
1: power down system
2: on power up hit the F8 key keep taping it till you get display saying startup in safe mode.
3: start up in safe mode no network.
4: if it starts up to an desktop then its an driver or software which you have installed causing normal startup to stop.
If it doesn't start in safe mode we will have to boot to an OS CD.
Let me know how these first steps go..

Laptop display not coming. only green light comes up.

Either your motherboard is fried or your lcd is out. Maybe try and connecting to a different monitor and press CRT and F8. If it comes up on the screen your LCD is gone. Also see if the HDD light on the laptop is coming on. It has a symbol of a cylinder beside it. If that's not on, then your motherboard is fried.

Display of the Laptop is not coming at all

You could have a defective screen - a defective inverter or a CCFL lamp.
To determine if you have a LCD screen or video card problem, read this and follow the instructions.

Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom:
  • Screen flashs on red/pink and off.
  • Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal.
  • Picture flickering with dim display or appear black.
  • Picture flickering on and off.
All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp

Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight.

Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.
Check out www.lcdparts.net for parts, repair service and DIY info.

Its related to Bank of Ireland Banking on line

From what it sounds like to me you are having somekind of software malfunction problem. What i would do is write down my sign on name and password. Then i would use add remove programs remove the software for your bank. Then I would get a online registry repair program (This is just in case that you had some window registry errors that was preventing your software to work properly) Then i would re download the newest version of the banks software. This should fix your problem. If you are having problems after doing this feel free to contact me for further solutions.

Laptop shut down

It's possible it is running too hot. The fan should not be running all the time. Turn it off and place a strong vacumn cleaner hose over the fan intake. What happens is that a strip of dust gets built up over time and blocks the exhaust duct.

Auto shutdown and troubled startups.

Yes it sounds as if it's a hardware fault, maybe a processor overheating by the sound of what you say, just check around all the vents and gently hoover them incase there is a circulation problem and the processor is shutting down. It could also be a failing memory module, you can download a programme to test this called 'memtest' if you do a google on it, but alas not a processor test.

My power button is not working, is their any way to start the nootebook making a power shortcut?

If the laptop was opened up, (ALL power removed -> AC adapter and battery; PLUS -> anti-static precautions taken!), and the laptop has a power on switch, (under the power on button), that plugs into the motherboard; you can unplug the switch, and touch the motherboard contacts to try to turn the laptop on. (Sorry about the run-on sentence) Jump a wire or similar, across the contacts, and see if the laptop turns on. Could try to be more specific, and detailed, if you had listed more info about the Fujitsu Lifebook. Such as it's Series number and Model Number. Example: Fujitsu Lifebook E8210. In this example E is the Series number, and 8210 is the Model Number. Post back in a Comment. Regards, joecoolvette
