Pc stops
Do you mean the search box.Well in Chrome you dont need it just do your search in the address bar.Also the new version of Chrome come with a tab screen where you fin Google search.
Pc stops, dont see hardisk
This indicates the hard drive is bad, first remove the hardware and reseat it back in position, sometimes this will restart it, if there is no change time for a new hard drive.
I have a FS Lifebook
The replacement hard drive sounds defective, remove hardware and re-seat it back into place, If there is still no change remove the hard drive take it to where it was purchased and have them test the hardware for issues.
I start the computer goes through normal set-up,
Check your power cord & adapter.
If its working then check the battery, reseat the battery & check.
If available then check with another battery
If no, then remove the battery & switch on the PC in AC mode.
Check if battery charging indication or AC power on indication is glowing. if not then need to change ur motherboard.
If indication is OK, but could not power ON then check ur RAM for any loose connection or dust. clean & reinstall.
If still no display, connect an external monitor, check if display is comming.
If Display is coming then your LCD need to replace.
I am now on my 2nd port replicator for lifebook
No easy answer to this. The standard port replicators that are used by the e4010 lifebooks seem to be incredibly unreliable. I worked with these laptops for a few years and we were forever replacing the port replicators for users.
To startup, I have to press to On/Of button 2x or
Frist Rfix your battery and RAM memory.
then check if problem still remains then you have to reset bios setttings .
For that you have to open back side of laptop.
Then you find mother bord chip set.
Pull cmos cell from mother bord for 15 seconds then refix it then check.
you can refix Battery and RAM from back side there is 2 small plate RAM plate is up on battery plate.Let me know if you have any confusion .

Notebook cannot power up
Any lights on the A/C power adapter ?? If not, then the power adapter is faulty. If the adapter is OK, the power connector on your Lifebook is faulty. Good luck
Lifebook 4010 keyboard some keys won't work
You have to pry either pull on some levers at the top or bottom, or you have to use a thin screw driver , it comes out, and then it will still be connected to the computer with a wire. I doubt cleaning it will work, but you could, and see what happens, but if you look up your model number of your computer you could find one on the net. or ebay that would work. I like ordering new parts, because you know they are going to work for a while.
How to format a install windows xp3 on FUJITSU SIEMENS
backup your data first in any external source. insert bootable cd of xp and boot from it. follow the instruction and finish the installation after that install required drivers and apps.
in starting you need to select boot from cd., can be select-able from bios and also by pressing f12.
My power button is not working, is their any way to start the nootebook making a power shortcut?
If the laptop was opened up, (ALL power removed -> AC adapter and battery; PLUS -> anti-static precautions taken!), and the laptop has a power on switch, (under the power on button), that plugs into the motherboard; you can unplug the switch, and touch the motherboard contacts to try to turn the laptop on. (Sorry about the run-on sentence) Jump a wire or similar, across the contacts, and see if the laptop turns on. Could try to be more specific, and detailed, if you had listed more info about the Fujitsu Lifebook. Such as it's Series number and Model Number. Example: Fujitsu Lifebook E8210. In this example E is the Series number, and 8210 is the Model Number. Post back in a Comment.
