I have here a procedure that works well on Sylvania tv`s , since both brands/models are made by FUNAI , it may work on yours as well.
With the tv`s original remote control and in one sequence, press the arrow left then right and power.
As i said this works with sylvania but will it work on yours ????
Nothing to loose by trying i guess :)
I`d like some feedback on this if it does.

By the way this problem is known to occur after a power blackout or if the power cord or power bar is turned off while the set is playing.

Good question. Set your channel on the hallmark channel. Then go to your menu to the control that turns captioning on. Turn it off, then turn it on to see if it works. If this doesn't work try to reset the entire unit. Unplug the unit, wait 2 minutes. Turn it on , go through the procedure to find channels, turn the caption control to on and see what happens. hi sound like epprom fault there's a memory chip installed on the main board of the tv sometimes these can cause this fault hope i'm wrong good luck regards shaun

un plug the tv open the back by unscrewing it take the cd out and put the tv back together

I can't find a manual for it, but normally you don't search for 'Channels'.
