1. You possibly will need to replace the power supply.
Hard to determine here with out physically seeing the PC but I 'm 90% sure it is the power supply not supplying proper voltage to the system board and hard drive. You will need a tech to check the voltage at the mother board inputs. You should have -12,+12,-5,+5 at key socket points

Hi there,
Before you get started on the restore disk, switch off the PC first and open up the CPU to make sure everything is well connected inside. If needed, unplug and plug the wires back in. See if it works when you start back on the PC. If it doesn't then go for the recovery disk.
Here's the
link where you can find the restore disk to download. Hope this helps.

Video
I really could use more information but will suggest updating the video drivers as well as the DirectX driver (9.0C) from Microsoft.
Since I have no idea on what all you have done, I have some questions / suggestions.
1st: Have you Defragmented your computer? If not this month, please do so ASAP.
2nd: How much free space is left on your hard drive? You need over 15% free space.
3rd: Have you cleaned out you cookies, temp Files & Temp. Internet Files?
4th: Every item you add or install anything on your computer, it starts running each time you boot up.
This eats up your limited power and processor. To see this you will need to use the CRTL/ALT/DELETE keys to open up your TASK MANAGER
On the right side you will see a TAB called START UP. Each item that is checked or ********** is running in the background.
You do not need this stuff running. Its a gift of Microsoft to make it start faster for you and is no longer a needed item since you have so much power.
Uncheck most if not all items, like MSN or YAHOO chat, Games and anything not directly related to the computer operation.
I have a Gateway LP2417 monitor and there's No sound.Hoe do I fix it,so I can hear the video that is playing?
This monitor may not have built-in speakers. It may have supported Gateway's monitor mounted sound bar. That sound bar connected to the 3.5 mm audio out on a computer and a DIN port on the monitor.
The simplest solution is to connect your source to appropriate speakers. Depending on your audio setup, you could connect the video source to a receiver with HDMI IN and HDMI Out (ARC), computer speakers or an audio extractor. (If you are using an HDMI cable between the Gateway LP2417 and a computer, you may need to reset the audio output to use basic computer speakers (3.5mm jack).) VGA and DVI connections don't support audio so I assume you are using the HDMI port.
I hope this helps.

How to make touch screen on gateway computer upside down and how to put it back?
f you want to use your touch screen on your gateway computer in an upside down orientation, there are a few things you need to do.
First, you need to change the orientation of the screen in the control panel. To do this, go to the control panel and select "Display." Next, click on the "Settings" tab and then click on the "Orientation" drop-down menu. Select "Landscape (flipped)" from the menu and then click on the "Apply" button.
Now that the orientation of the screen has been changed, you need to adjust the position of the touchscreen so that it is in the correct position. To do this, go to the control panel and select "Hardware and Sound." Next, select "Pen and Touch" and then click on the "Calibrate" button.
Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the touchscreen. Once you have finished, the touchscreen should be working correctly in the upside down orientation.
I hope this helps!

I have a 2017 Gateway All in One Pentium Model zx6980 Push power button monitor comes on faintly No signal HD something. Will not boot
It sounds like there could be a few different issues going on with your computer. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the connections: Make sure all cables and connections are secure and properly plugged in. This includes the power cable, monitor cable, and any other peripheral cables.
- Check the monitor: Try connecting your computer to a different monitor to see if the issue is with the monitor itself. If the other monitor works, the problem is likely with your original monitor.
- Check the hard drive: Disconnect the new SSD hard drive and try booting up the computer without it. If the computer boots up successfully, there may be an issue with the hard drive or its installation.
- Check the battery: As you mentioned, the issue could be related to the battery on the motherboard. Try replacing the battery with a new one and see if that helps.
- Try booting into safe mode: If the computer is still not booting up, try booting into safe mode by pressing the F8 key during startup. This will allow you to troubleshoot any issues with your computer's software.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to take your computer to a professional for further diagnosis and repair.

I need a gateway laptop recovery cd
Gateway does not provide recovery CDs for their laptops. Instead, they provide a recovery partition on the hard drive that can be used to restore the laptop to its original factory settings. To access the recovery partition, you will need to press a specific key or combination of keys when the laptop is first turned on. This key or combination of keys will vary depending on the model of laptop you have. You can find instructions for accessing the recovery partition in the laptop's user manual or on Gateway's
