Computer not always showing up on monitor after reboot. It only works after I turn pc off by button and psu off and on but only randomly. I am not sure if it is the mobo or psu or gpu - a gtx 960.

It might just be worth double checking that its not in fact your monitor at fault. you said the the monitor isn't always displaying the picture, but you can hear that the computer is on? You also say you are turning your computer off and on to cure the problem, which of course also power cycles your monitor. When it happens again, power cycle your monitor by turning it off and on to see if the image reappears?

It runs at first 10 mins then it suddenly turns off without warn?

hi this sounds like you might have either a overheating fault or the "switch" ( not a real switch more like a little silver tube looking item) on the motherboard may be at fault, you need to check the CPU heat sink and fan are up to the job, also check the graphics card if you have a separate one, it might be overheating, turn it on with the case open and just check the CPU fan see if is turning fast or even better still access the bios and go to the CPU utility and check the fan ratio there it shouldn't be less than 2500 to 3500 rpm depending on the board and CPU ok...hope this helps please vote thanks

My gigabyte mother board is not running but the two network lights are one that means the power supply is fine what would be the problem

The best thing that you can try is to disconnect everything but the power and the video and plug one item at a time until it stops working. For example if you disconnect everything but the power and the video card and turn it on does it come up?. If so then shut it off and then plug in keyboard and try again. Repeat, meaning turn it back on and if it still works then shut it down and plug in the mouse, etc, etc, etc.. Where is the Driver for a SataI HardDisk when installing Windows 7, which is attached to a Gigabyte 8KNXP Motherboard? The Gigabyte 8KNXP Driver Download site has a Driver but it's for Windows XP.

According to Gigabyte, you have a Silicon Image 3112/3152 SATA chip on that motherboard. Below is a link to the Silicon Image support page. Here, under the Product support pulldown you will choose either of the two numbers (3112/3152) and scroll down the list and you will find a driver for Windows 7 for 32 and 64 bit 3x12 chips (where the x is any number). They also say to use the newest BASE BIOS and there are tips to update the chip's BIOS. I've never tried this before, but hope you have good luck! Support Library

Everyone know some drivers for new bios?Because i purchased a Gigabyte GTX 750,and my mobo want a new bios.My mobo is Foxconn 2abf 1.30

The manufacturers provide BIOS updates. Go to their websites to get them. FWIW: You should only update the BIOS if the update provides a necessary feature or fixes a specific problem. Read the BIOS release notes to find out what it does.

Since changing the battery on the Gigabyte 8KNXP mboard the SATA Hard Drive isn't being seen. How do I setup the BIOS for the SATA hard drive to be used & seen for Windows to start up again?

Are you sure that the drive isn't being detected but not being SELECTED as the boot drive? Most older MBs will default to the PATA primary cable to search for the boot disk. When you fist boot up, enter the BIOS. If, under the STANDARD CMOS FEATURES option, you do not see your SATA drive listed, then check the data and power cable connections to the SATA drive. If it still is not, there, then, in the CMOS, check under the INTEGTATED PERIPHERALS to ensure that the ON-CHIP SATA option is enables (or AUTO). If the drive IS there, but just not booting, then, under the ADVANCED BIOS FEATURES, check and ensure that the SATA drive is listed as the FIRST BOOT DEVICE. If it is not, follow screen direction to change the first boot device to the SATA HDD.

Have a LG L194WT 1440x900 display but cannot set that resolyution - max is 1280 x 1024 after upgrade from Windows 8 to 8.1

There are two possible issues that can cause this:
  1. The graphics adapter driver is not correct (using default VGA)
  2. The OS doesn't recognize the monitor's resolution capability.
Look at the DEVICE MANAGER screen and observe what the display adapter type is. If it is a "standard VGA" then you need to search for an updated adapter for your computer's graphics card or internal chipset (if onboard graphics). If the display adapter is correct, then check with the LG site to see if there is a monitor driver that can be loaded to aid in the OS identifying the monitor's native resolution. If there is no Windows 8 driver, you can try a Windows 7 driver...it may work.
