My casio cash register shows dash and its stuck. Its not working. Please help me.

If water froze within the lock, that could keep the cylinder from rotating. WD-40 or a similar lubricant could get the tumblers to drop freely, If you have a second key, does it rotate the lock? It could be the one key is worn down.. If a spring that raises the tumblers is broken, that could cause the tumbler to fall too low; in that case only replacing the spring or the lock will help.

Usually default code is 888888 then enter

It means you need to enter cash declaration. You have to count the cash and checks total in the drawer. then press CASH, type the amount of cash (no decimal point) then press cash again. then type the amount in checks and press CHECK button. Then press cash

1)Turn your MA key to 1 position after Z. 2)switch off MAINS(plug) 3)press 3&9 simulteneously 4) while still pressing, let someone insrt the plug for you 5)turn back to REG

It sounds like you have the key in void mode. Make sure the key is turned to REG mode

Please check the model number. That is not a normal casio model number. Are you printing daily reports currently?

Usually if you do model A v. model B in Google, it will show the difference. In this case it doesn't. You would have to read both manuals. It may just be a year or two newer.
