Continues pumping

Sounds like it needs a new timer. The timer is the brain and tells the machine what to to.

First check whether your inlet valve is open on the wall; if that is not the problem check to see that the inlet valves are not clogged with some dirt or something, clean out and refit. Plug off the wall and careful with the water spillage. The final part should be to check whether the water flows into the machine, ie. the entry at the soap dispenser. Simple.

Continually spinning

indesits dont have carbon brushes they have a module which controls everything to your tomer if this is faulty or your timer then its not worth doing too much in money to replace get a hoover or candy same machine just ones the uk model and the other is the us model dont go for hotpoint though because indesit own hotpoint now and there changing the carbon brushes to modules which is a big mistake alot dearer to replace then the carbon brushes but maybe thats why there doing so customers have to buy another washer check the price by going to indesit customer support web site but i always keep customers away from indesit due to that module some hotpoints are still the carbons but some arent cheaper to buy a slight damaged from a washer repay shop they usually have damaged at a fraction of the price save at least £125 per washer or buy a repossed one may off been used at the most 10 times nothing wrong with them and you will save £200 plus m8

Washing machine keeps taking water in even after programme has stopped

poss moisture on your control module causing tracking . unplug your machine from the mains and take the back panel off, you can try blowdrying the module down in the bottom left hand corner or you can take it off (noting where all the leads go to),get an old toothbrush and clean the solered side around the bottom of the board failing that you will most probably have to change it

Indesit washing machine wi101

I have the same issue, have just returned from a 9 month break and now the washer does the click thing, but if you open and close the door a few times and set to program 4 is seems to work after about 10 minutes! It was perfect when I left, not 18 months old either. Can see it being the timer either, maybe a pickup of some type not detecting a level? Peter

Washing machine

sounds like a pump problem. see if theres a broken belt going to the pump. if its a direct drive unit then the clutch solinoid could be defective or the timer as well. What you need to do is if its a direct drive is measure the voltage on the solinoid or switch wehn its supose to dran if its there then the switch or solinoid is bad. If its not there then most likly the timer but I would need to see the wiring chart to be sure. good luck PS the wiring chart is inside on the back or on one of the sides in most washers and dryers.

Indesit dishwasher Dfg15b1 will stop during a cycle and the salt light flashes, the drying light stays on, and the start/pause button flashes.

I would check the water inlet flow rate is fast enough as these will time out if they can't get enough water fast enough.

Indesit index XWA91683 will not start Wash Mode?

If your Indesit XWA91683 washing machine fills with water but does not start the wash cycle, and you have confirmed that the pump is working fine, there could be a few potential causes for the issue, including a malfunctioning motherboard. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Power Cycle: Start by turning off the washing machine and unplugging it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can help reset the machine's internal settings and may resolve temporary issues.
  2. Check Door Interlock: Ensure that the washing machine's door is securely closed and the door interlock mechanism is functioning properly. A faulty door interlock can prevent the machine from starting the wash cycle. Check for any loose connections, damage, or obstructions in the door interlock mechanism.
  3. Reset the Control Panel: Depending on the model, your washing machine may have a combination of buttons or a specific sequence to reset the control panel. Consult the user manual for your Indesit XWA91683 or contact Indesit customer support for instructions on how to reset the control panel to factory settings.
  4. Examine the Control Board: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, there could be a problem with the motherboard or control board of the washing machine. Inspect the control board for any visible signs of damage, such as burnt components, loose connections, or corrosion. If you notice any significant issues, it may be necessary to replace the control board. Consult a professional technician or contact Indesit customer support for further assistance.
It's worth noting that diagnosing and repairing issues with the motherboard or control board typically require professional expertise. If you are not confident in handling these repairs yourself, it is recommended to consult a qualified technician or contact Indesit customer support for assistance. They will have the knowledge and tools to accurately diagnose the problem and provide appropriate solutions.

How do I remove the back access cover on an Indesit WIE 167 washing machine to replace belt

Follow these procedures to remove the back access cover on an Indesit WIE 167 washing machine and replace the belt: Disconnect the washer from the electrical outlet and turn off the water supply. Move the washing machine away from the wall so that the back can be accessed. Find the screws that secure the rear access cover. Often, they are positioned throughout the cover's perimeter. Remove the screws using a screwdriver and store them in a secure location. Carefully remove the washing machine's back access cover. Using a flat instrument, such as a putty knife or a scraper, to pull the cover away from the machine may be useful. Once the cover is removed, the belt should be accessible. Remove the old belt from the machine with care. Put the replacement belt on both the motor and drum pulleys. Align the back access panel with the washing machine and secure the screws to reattach it. Reconnect the washing machine and activate the water supply. Verify that the replacement belt works properly by putting the washing machine through a series of tests. When servicing a washing machine, it is essential to observe all safety precautions. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable with any of these processes, it may be better to call a skilled technician or service center for assistance.

Remove the kick plate from the washing machine's bottom to gain access to the filter. Inspect the pump: Look for any obstructions or blockages in the washing machine's bottom-mounted pump. Remove the kick plate from the washing machine's bottom to gain access to the pump. If there is a clog, remove it with care before attempting to restart the washing machine. Check the belt for any indications of wear or damage. The belt must be replaced if it is damaged or loose.
