hi, you need to give more information, how far does it go to booting before it stops. What is the last thing you see on the screen, does it keep restarting? When you switch it on does nothing happen? Does it display any lights if it does not start. Please collect more information and resubmit.

Reset your Windows 7 password with your password reset disk! OK, You didn't create one... Neither have I. Create one as soon as you get back into your computer. TOOLS:

• Another PC that can burn/download ISO images
• Blank writeable CD to burn it to (or bootable USB)
• About an 1/2 Hour of your time.

1. Download ONTP&RE (Offline NT Password & Registry Editor) 2. Burn the contents of the ISO file you downloaded to a CD (or bootable USB). Don't just burn the ISO itself to the CD! 3. Boot from the CD and let the password reset program start. 4. Follow the instructions. 5. Once the Windows 7 password reset is confirmed, remove the disc from the drive and restart your computer. The Windows 7 password will be blank/unset. 6. Now create a new password!

Sometimes (rarely) laptops need a bit of a kick to get them going! When confronted with this particular issue, I power off the laptop, disconnect the power supply, remove the battery and discharge any residual charge by pressing the power on switch for a couple of seconds. Replace the battery, re-attach the power and reattempt the normal power on cycle. See it that kicks it into action!

I am not sure, if it is possible to recover password, but at least it is possible to reset password on windows xp or 7 using wonderful tool called Trinity Rescue Kit (TRK) which can be found here:http://trinityhome.org/Home/index.php?content=TRINITY_RESCUE_KIT____CPR_FOR_YOUR_COMPUTER&front_id=12&lang=en&locale=enThere are also instructions, but let me make it bit short:- download TRK and burn it\'s ISO image to CD/DVD using your favourite burning SW- boot that computer from burned disc- choose "1 - Edit user data and passwords"- follow instructions, type account name to reset password for- choose for example option 1 to clear password, you will set new password under windows later :)- then restart computer and enjoy!Warning:It is illegal to get access to computer like that unless the computer is your own, or you have permission!

Turn your Lenove Thinkpad upside down. Open the thinkpad battery and rub the contact ends of the battery with a rough piece of paper. Reconnect the battery and switch on your Thinkpad. Hope this helps.

If you have a laptop check all sides to see if there is a switch to turn it on, if not look at the keyboard and see if there is a wireless icon on any of the keys .If found Press the FN key and the wireless key to turn on.

When you switch on the computer, press the F8 button and keep it pressed. Then it will show the option to startup in safe mode. If the computer is already running, ust whose from the startup menu, the button to switch of, but in het menu that is coming, chose restart. Then press the F8 button.
