Wireless thinkpad t30
Need a little more info to be helpful. Did the computer ever connect to the network? If so what was changed?
Ibm think pad bios locked
Short pins on the bios chip. I have done this on T42's. I assume it will work on T30's as well. You'll have to search the internet for which pins to short (usually pins 5 & 6 or pins 7 & 8), but you short the pins together and turn the machine on. Be careful! Do it at your own risk. Once you are into the BIOS, you cancel the password settings and save.
Bios password lock
use usb stick (bios flash software, ibm site should have the software, or goto youtube and search for solution)
No speaker sound
Odds are it's a damaged wire and there won't be anything you can do to fix it. My suggestion would be to get a small set of portable speakers that use the headphone jack.
Flickering horizontal lines on lonovo T-400. about
Hi Friend,I would recommend that if you have any external monitor connect the laptop to the monitor and check if same thing is happening on the external monitor as well.If Yes, it seems to be the driver issue, kindly install the updated video/graphics driver of the Lenovo system. If No, it seems that there is physical issue with your Lenovo screen that needs to be checked physically at the repair centre. If you donot have the external monitor still update the Lenovo graphics/video drivers and check if it fixed the issue, otherwise, take it to the repair centre to get it checked physically.Thank you.
Error 0200 failure fixed disk 0 ibm thinkpad
First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.
My ibm T30 thinkpad screen is not working
Hi there,It's hard to say, but if I understood correctly, your screen still functions as long as it does not stay on for a long time. There are three possibilities1- Video card (If you have an external monitor, plug it in and see if the same issue occurs. If so, the video card is the issue)2- The flat cable which carries the signal from the video card to the LCD screen. (Does moving lid only (screen) causes it to behave differently? (If so, it may be the flat cable)3- The LCD itself (In case none of the above apply)
T43 screen dims and laptop will not shut down
The screen will dim on battery power to save energy. The power settings, found when you right click the power icon in taskbar notification area and go to power options, can be changed to your personal preferences. The shut down issue may be what is running, I can't say what is running, but look at the Start up process in MSCONFIG and shut down what is not necessary at Start UP. Look at tutorials on Faster Start up and Shut down. There may be many items you can shut down/disable to speed up these events. QUESTION: Is this a upgrade to WIN 7 Ultimate, If so your computer me be a bit short on specs, in other words you have reached the computers hardware limits. How much RAM, CPU speed...etc.
