Perhaps in changing passwords, or who knows. My Kindle is not receiving books I order on Amazon.

Make sure you are connected to your WIFI, not someone else's, which includes your WIFI password. Make sure you didn't change your e-mail on Amazon without matching it on the Kindle. Changing your password on Amazon will not change your reception of books.

Can you recommend a new kindle for me?

Not really. Too much depends on YOUR personal preferences. Do you want a large screen for ease of viewing or a small screen for better portability? There are other choices to be make. And don't forget your budget. Only YOU can make the best decision.

My kindle fire will not operate. After powering up, the unit only displays the front page and I cannot get anything else on the unit.

Try rebooting. Press and hold the power button, ignoring the "Shut down" prompt until the unit turns off. Release and then press the power button for a second or two until it starts rebooting. If that doesn't work, please repost your question, including what happens (or not happens) after the reboot.

Hi can you tell me why my kindle e reader wont turn on its charged & it a paperwhite 2 generation

Try a reset. Just press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds. Release, you may see some flashing as it goes through. After a little you will see the same kind of progress bar at bottom like when you download from the net. Then it should come back up and be ready to go. Once in a while all these devices need to resettle.

I need to register my kindle fire

You can do that online or through the fire itself. I copied directions from online. Mine has been registered so long I forget from one to the next. I know it asks some questions but nothing big. I think it may as to verify the device ID. You just click yes or OK.
  1. From Home, press the Menu button, and then select Settings. Select Registration.
  2. Specify the Amazon account you want to use for your Kindle:
    • If you already have an Amazon account: Select this option. Enter your Amazon account information. Select Register. Your name will appear as the Registered User when registration is complete.
    • If you do not have an Amazon account: Select this option and follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new Amazon account.

My fire kindle will not connect to my internet services even until yesterday everything was working fine, I keep getting an ' authentication problem?

Try re-checking your wi-fi password. Log off your connection, Then try again to log-on. Make sure you have the right service, put in info and see if it takes. You may have to try a different service to see if the problem may be their's. If you logged into a different wi-fi recently you may still be logged into that one even though out of their range.

I have 4 kindles, the oldest one has died how can I transfer all the books I have on it to my remaing kindles

Assuming these are e-readers, there should be a spot in the upper left hand corner when you are looking at the library dection of the kindle that says both Device and Cloud. Click "cloud" and then tap on the books you want to download to that kindle.

This is assuming you are logged in to your Amazon Kindle account on the reader. You should already be.

My Kindle Fire has been working for many years. Try rebooting by holding down the power button, ignoring the "Shut down" prompt until it turns off. Then press and hold the power button until it starts to reboot. Does it?
