Disable the alarm permanently 1. Press CANCEL button. 2. The WAKE indicator will be flashing. 3. Press WAKE MODE button within 3 sec- onds to deactivate the alarm function per- manently.

Turning off the Nap = just hold nap for like 3-5 seconds
Turning off the alarm = Hit cancel and then the mode flashes for 3 seconds.. touch mode and then you'll see there is 'no mode' selected showing the alarm is now off. Hit mode to turn it back for the next normal alarm scheduled time.

To turn on alarm, switch the selector lever to "Wake" and adjust the time shown. Then, switch the lever back to "Lock" and push the "Wake Mode" button until you see the selector dot (located on the bottom right of the time display) change to either the music or bell symbol; depending on how you'd like to be awaken.

To cancel the alarm, simply hit the "Cancel" button once, then press the "Wake Mode" button until the selector dot disappears.

I have the same clock radio and I found out that you have to hold down the button and run through the times. The hour will change with the minutes. It goes pretty fast once you hold down the button, so I stop when I get close (like within 20 minutes of where I need it to be) and then click it one minute at a time until it's at the right time.

The 9-volt battery is a backup battery. It will keep the clock running and the alarm working when the power goes off so you won't be late for work.
