Make sure you run the installer as an administrator and disable anti-virus software as it is likely to need to make changes to your hard drive to allow the BR drive to be recognised as a boot drive.

Navigate to the installer program but right click on it first and select "Run as Administrator", even if you already have administrator rights. Windows is weird like that.

Good Luck

if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer

Most likely your problems is related to driver, especially sound driver. To double check if all the drivers is installed properly, go to: Computer > Right Click > Then select Manage > In the drop down menu on the left choose "Device Manager"

It should show what driver is installed and not yet installed. Do look up your driver at Emachines website for any download. After all driver is installed do reboot the computer.

It is obviously dying or incapable of supplying a sufficient flow of power to the system. Before it blows, you will want to buy yourself a new one to prevent losing other components within your system. You can find some very good power supplies at this website. Once the page loads, search for: PC Power & Cooling. After the page loads, select, "PC Power & Cooling" on the left under the category, "Manufacturer."

Make sure you find one that exceeds your power needs by about 100-150 Watts. Yes, they are expensive, but you DO NOT want to skimp on the most important aspect of the computer, power. Wen it comes to power, you get what you pay for. Almost all cheap power-supplies will last you one year and then blow. And once they blow, they frequently take other components with them. Components such as motherboards, memory, CPUs, and Video Cards.

The reason behind picking a PC Power & Cooling PSU is rather self-explanatory. Firstly, they have the highest efficiency rating of any single-rail PSU. Secondly the PSU tends to run cool, thus increasing its life span. Thirdly, they are reliable and provide a steady flow of power. All of this equates to a great power supply which will support your system for a long time.

Let me know if I can assist you further or if I need to explain anything mentioned above in more detail.

Well, there are several things that you can try to fix this: 1. Try hitting the "reset button"(the little tiny one in the hole) with a paper clip;this should unfreeze it (in light of the fact that there are not any other problems). If this does not work try: 2. You can try pressing the lock/unlock button the side 3. You could also try plugging it directly into your computer with the USB cable. 4. Hold the power button down when you turn it off for no more than 30 seconds; Turn the device back on. 5. You could have done the initial set-up incorrectly. Make sure that it is 7" on 7", 8"on8", etc. 6. Try the install with a different ption 7. Drain the battery completely until the system goes dead on it`s own, take the battery out for about five minutes, and then put the battery back in. (NOTE: When you take the battery out, hold down the volume buttons for about 5 seconds).

The issue you're experiencing might be caused by a variety of issues which we need to find out. It would be better if you could provide mini dump file and also answer the following questions:

Which Windows 10 build are you using?
Can you send us a screenshot of the error message you're getting?
Can you provide us a detailed description of the issue you're experiencing?
Did you make any changes before this issue happened?

If not, you can refer to the following solutions:
