Defy fridge f640 replacing door hinges

For about a month. Just before Christmas. We have had an appliance technician here and he said it's probably 99% the defrost element. He checked everything else, the plug the gas etc. Those were all in order.

I have not worked on your polar machines, but many manitowoc machines, I have found that the switch sticks it is most often on the upper left if cube unit. If crushed Ice is the top. Either way try to change switch state either open or closed. Once you have that you can go further. Get new switch of clean it (which is most often the case.)
