Stops in the middle of printing and says diognastics in progress.
It sounds like its power off and reseting it's self. Might be a bad logic bd or power supply. If you like you can call in and I can give you free technical support on the unit. We carry all parts for the 4247's. refurbished with a 30/day warranty. I can take your as an exchange for the good one at a reasonable price. How to make multiple copies on IBM Wheelwriter 2
Two things. Multipart forms have a film on the top copy. Change the ribbon to another brand. Some work better than other. Probably if it printing some on the top copy, and it works on regular paper. If it does work on regular paper its the ribbon may be old or change to different brand. A work around is to use eraser on the form where you going to print. This will the remove the film, and allow to type there.
