My pilot light will not

Make sure the thermocouple is deeper into the flame of the pilot light. It needs to reach a high enough temperature to produce a high enough voltage to keep the pilot light lit all the time. I do not think that the main gas valve is bad at all.

Deep fryer pilot light switches off automatically

First make sure that the thermocouple tube is directly in the pilot light flame. If it is, then the thermocouple is defective.

Frymaster Dean Deep Fryers pilots light automatically go off

Will this heat up at all. Is it the same Model # as the one you .have some changes from the one you have for 2 years ago might have been made. check model # and make sure it is the same The light that go's out might be when the unit come up to the setting you put you Thermostat on meaning it heated up and will come back on when the temp drops and it starts to heat back up. it's that simple. if you just got this unit it should work if you turn the heating setting up . Let me know if the unit heats that is the starting point.

With thermostat off still lets gas thru

Either the thermostat or the gas valve has failed. Locate and disconnect one of the wires going to the thermostat, if unit continues to heat the gas valve has failed, if not, the thermostat is likely stuck closed (on).

Hi there.Your maxitrol regulator specification is correct for natural gas use, the pressusre setting may be in minimum (3"wc) that's why the fryer does not fire-up or it may also be clogged.Check also if the spring is sitting properly on top of the plunger.Regards.

My deep fryer pilot somtimes goes out after burners ignite

I assume this is a natural gas fryer....Are your jets clean? That is an issue sometimes, and those are the small holes that your flames come out of....Is your gas line clogged anywhere....? I don't sell Dean fryers, not too impressed by that brand, as they leak quite often, and then Dean won't honor their warranty program....so I'm not as familiar with their products, however on some brands, the thermostat dial itself should not be turned to the holding temperature until after it lights and is fully on...Do you turn it to say 350 degrees right away or wait for it to light before selecting your temperature? Thermostats themselves going bad is the number one issue with fryers, so it could be that. To clean out the burner jets, we use a compressor and blow them out clean...You can also use a small brush or skewer to clean them out. I would eliminate everything you can that has no costs involved first, and then move to parts that you have to purchase. If you need a thermostat, I could get you a price on Monday... Our toll free number is 888-542-5959, Restaurant Equipment Outlet, Cincinnati, Ohio. We would need the brand/model number and serial if you have it also. Our service tech who specializes in gas products is off Monday, but there are other people there who can help and get you pricing on parts. I won't be in until after lunch myself Monday, but check out what you can, and if nothing works, then call us on Mon or Tues next week. Everything is closed up until Monday, so we can't order or get pricing over the week-end. Good luck, hope this helps. Susan REO

I have an older propane fryer tha will not cut off when desired temp is met. It holds about 2 to 2.5 gallons of oil. I think it is called a table top model. Any solutions?

Sounds like your thermostat is not working correctly. If it doesn't shut down when you reach a desired temperature, then it could be broken. Are you sure it's actually reaching the desired temperature? You might want to put a thermometer in your oil and read it to make sure your oil is the desired temp before you go to the trouble of replacing your thermostat. If you need a replacement thermostat, we sell them, and you can call us at 888-542-5959. We would need model, and serial if you have it in order to price this part for you. Thanks,SusanRestaurant Equipment OutletCincinnati, Ohio

HOW I CAN CONECTION WITH GAS CYLENDER ( 2 MACHINE

Are you trying to hook up a gas fryer to a gas cylinder tank? If so, you hook them up with a hose. If you have natural gas, you need a gas line, and if you have a fryer on casters, you would need a quick disconnect hose instead. If it's an LP Gas fryer, then the gas hose is much smaller and cheaper. We sell all of these if you need one, at Restaurant Equipment Outlet, 888-542-5959, Cincinnati, Ohio. Thanks, Susan
