Everyone I used a large paper clip straightened & cut it to size .i did try to grind down a nail on my drill but that did not work You have to take some small screws out around the door then fit the metal pin from the large paperclip and the put the screws back .Alternatively you could try watch pins etc .But hey paperclips are very cheap .They might not be as robust as the origonal but the will do the trick.Lasted at least 6 months untill i dropped the camera recently.

There is nothing wrong with your digital camera. You just have to format your memory card to get rid of the data debris that has been living on that chip for a long time now.

If it's an "SD" card, there's a switch on the side of the card.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back. Some cameras can deface your pictures by scrawling a string of numbers across them. Sir please check your mem card if it is not corrupt.. then try to format that card using your computer... if it works well and good otherwise try a new card plus card jack .. it will work.Thank you
