Main advantages

* Super high capacity storage/ floppy disk compatible The Panasonic PV-SD4090 and PV-SD5000 digital cameras offer super high capacity storage on a 120MB SuperDisk™ Diskette for up to 1500 shots on the PV-SD4090 (Up to 1000 on PV-SD5000). Also, both cameras are floppy disk compatible. * USB Port/External SuperDisk™ Drive Both cameras come equipped with a USB port so you can quickly and easily transfer images from either a SuperDisk™ Diskette or floppy disk (using the included USB cable) to your computer, even if your computer does not come equipped with either a SuperDisk™ Drive or floppy disk drive. In addition, images and data can be transferred from your computer to the camera using the included USB cable*. This lets both the PV-SD4090 and the PV-SD5000 digital cameras function as an external SuperDisk™ Drive so you can easily archive your images or backup all your data (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint files). * Inexpensive media Panasonic SuperDisk™ digital cameras use SuperDisk™ Diskettes or 1.44MB floppy disks. SuperDisk™ Diskettes cost approximately $10.00 each (suggested retail price), which is far less expensive than comparable CompactFlash or SmartMedia cards. * Motion image recording with audio The PV-SD5000 can record up to 12 seconds of motion images with audio (the PV-SD4090 stores up to 10 seconds) using the popular QuickTime™** format, so you can easily send motion image files to friends and family. * TIFF recording (PV-SD5000 only) TIFF format recording allows you to take uncompressed images with greater clarity and detail. * Comes with a complete package of accessories, including: 1. 120MB Panasonic SuperDisk™ Diskette 2. Rechargeable lithium ion battery pack 3. AC adapter charger 4. DC cable 5. A/V cable 6. USB cable 7. Camera strap 8. Software CD-ROM including Adobe® PhotoDeluxe® editing software *Requires Microsoft™ Windows® 98 preinstalled PC with USB port, Windows® 2000 PC with USB port, iMac® or Power Macintosh® G3 or G4 with USB port and Mac OS version 8.1 or later. Windows® 2000 driver for the PV-SD4090 is currently available on this website. Software for the PV-SD5000 will be available in the near future. **QuickTime and the QuickTime logo are trademarks used under license. QuickTime is registered in the U.S. and other countries.
