Tz10 lens cover sticking

My TZ10 problem was the opposite, the cover wouldn't open. I just resorted to surgery with needle-nose pliers and a carefully wielded Stanley knife, and removed the cover completely without opening up the camera or the lens assembly. No big deal not having a lens cover, the thing lives in a leather case and it doesn't take a moment to wipe the lens with a tissue if it gets dusty. The camera is 4 years old anyway. Solved by 'amputation'.

How do I connect with wifi my Lumix DC vario to my Macbook Air so I can download images?

To be able to put something on a computer setting up a connection a;one is not enough. It is like connecting a cable. If you don't have a program to get the pictures from the connected device it newer will work. Always first install the software, then connect the device. Like with an USB cable and device. Check if Panasonic put some software on the disk that came with the camera. Perhaps even the software to manage your pictures (over USB) will work.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 Language

It is possible that you got a discounted non international version. They sometimes sell them at a reduced cost. But... Go to Panasonics website and download the owners manual and see if you can navigate as the manual shows. Send them an email if the menu item is missing. If not make a Japanese friend.

How do I download photos from the camera internal memory

Either of two ways. If you normally download photos by taking the memory card out of your camera and putting it into a card reader, copy the photos from the internal memory to a memory card. See page 81 of the manual: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMCFS15.PDF If you normally download photos by connecting your camera to your computer, remove any memory cards before connecting.

Camera shows "This memory card is write-protected." I can't take a photo

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I am unable to download my pictures from my lumix dmc-fz8 to my windows 7 laptop

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
