My sony cyber shot lens will not go back in it sounds like it is trying to do do and their is a light flashing.
There is probably a bit of grit or something similar caught in the lens control. Service or repair, I'm afraid.

Sony nex7 will not play back avchd video and has a movie file error message.will not upload onto computer. How do i fix this problem?

Is there a memory card installed? If there is try a different card it may have hung up on reading the contents of the card.

My Sony Cyber -shot DSC-H70 gray spots in pictures, especially in lower light. Does the sensor need cleaning? Is tis something I can do? If so, how? thanks
If the camera has sensor cleaning ability it should have a built in facility to do this. Otherwise do not attempt it yourself, check the camera manual or the manufacturers website for more information. Taking photos in low light is always in risk of getting what could be described as grey spots. The technical term is Artefacts. This is where the sensor has insufficient light to generate a clear image from the available light and the camera software guesses what colours should be there, often they are grey or black.

Where can i download my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W170 camera so i can install it to my computer so that it works
You need two things. A USB lead to connect to your camera and software installed on your computer to recognise your camera is connected to it via the USB lead. The software and USB lead should have come with the camera. The software will be on a CD or DVD. If it did not then you need to download the software from the Sony website and then install it on your computer. Depending on your computer, ensure you download the correct type. It will either be for a MAC IOS or Windows PC.

I have a Sony DSC-W110 and have set the date and time on the clock setting, however i cannot get the date and time to appear on the photo? What am idoing wrong?
Not all cameras display the date on the photo. Most just store the date and time with all the other photo details in the EXIF file.

I tried to copy my pictures. but win10 could not read my card and the camera says the card is unusable and needs to be reformatted. Is there a way to recover the photos ?
There are software available for image recovery from SD and SDHC cards. One good one was produced for free by San Disk. It was called Rescue Pro. I have a Sony A230 camera. At first everything went fine until the last 6 months my camera was dead for whatever reason. The INTERNAL flash unit is the same. But of course the Model 2 has an EXTERNAL flash shoe, while the original RX100 does not.
