on what? you are giving the error but no details about the problem if it's in your car, on your computer, on your phone or what. we need DETAILS and the more the better. we can't help you properly if we have no clue what it is you're talking about even.

Please see below. I believe that you have set the tuning to LOCK, hence the KEY symbol. I have done the same thing with other radios. I bet you never forget this!

Manual Tuning with Rotary Dial You can select a higher or lower frequency by turning ROTARY TUNING. Set FAST/FINE/LOCK to select the rotary tuning increments or to lock the ROTARY TUNING dial. The following table shows the tuning increments for the FAST and FINE settings. '------'------'-------'------'-------' ' ' FM ' LW ' MW ' SW ' '------'------'-------'------'-------' ' FAST ' 0.1 ' 9 kHz ' 9/10 ' 0.005 ' ' ' MHz ' ' kHz ' MHz ' '------'------'-------'------'-------' ' FINE ' 0.05 ' 1 kHz ' 1 kHz' 0.001 ' ' ' MHz ' ' ' MHz ' '------'------'-------'------'-------' To lock the ROTARY TUNING dial, set FAST/FINE/LOCK to lock. This keeps you from changing the frequency if you accidentally touch the dial. NOTE: This locks only the ROTARY TUNING dial.

As a technician, I would think it’s more than likely a parent problem or it could be a battery dead on one of the devices and it cannot see it or there’s too many things generating that particular frequency in that area. Good luck

very simple you should be able to tell by sound, have someone else talk into mic while you go the audience. I hope you are using a good quality mic and American cables with Nutrek connectors. If you have a mic and cable together I would replace it. You will need to hours studying mic patterns to determine which pattern you will need. I would us a cardiod pattern not an omni pattern. If you are putting your mouth on or too close the sound will be terrible. Practice your enunciation.

Use the AUX jack, the old cigarette lighter jack to get a 12V feed. It will work fine as long as you are not using a linear amplifier with the radio.

Ham radio fests, Craigs list, local ham club. Maybe a CERT type of group (citizens emergency response team). We have those and they use ham radios. Also try emergency services in your county. You will never get what you paid....Used Ham gear goes cheap.

I think you will find the problem is in one of the microphone wires. The switch for TX/RX is in the mic, and if the RX wire opens up, you will not get any receive audio.

You would have a better chance of someone being able to help you if you post of the make and model of the radio. Base, mobile etc.

Hello Jeff, I was looking for the user manual of your CB Radio Hatadi, to know what fuse it takes and there is no information
I would try the 5 Amp, I would place it and it would work for a long time to the BC Radio, checking that the fuse resists the transmission work
If it does not resist, I would put the 10 Amp and would do the same test
If it does not resist either, then you already have problems with the equipment
If so, look for a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil
