Yes you can. The button is in the software. goto http://192.168.1.254 or whatever the URL for the modem. Login. Goto Home-->Wireless--> Push WPS Button Remotely and push the button. I don't know if you need to have the repeater nearby when you do this. I had mine sitting right next to my router.

most common problem is the power brick itself. You can buy a new one at radio shack. Bring your old one to the store with you and they will help you buy the right replacement. Probably around $20. If it is not the power cord itself then the router is probably totaled, ie it is cheaper to go buy a new one then to try to fix it unless you are a highly skilled electronics person.

Ley me tell you att and 2 wire/netgear/linksys router 's ip address are same it's known as Double Nat issue.

So here you go-

Try to change the ip of your router say 192.168.5.1 - Save settings- and restart the router-If still unable to go online.
Call isp and get the username and password for PPPoE settings and convert the modem to FULL BRIDGE MODE.

I would remove the wireless adapter from the device manager Press the Windows key (bottom left of the keyboard} and at the same time press the R key, now in the search box that appears - type devmgmt.msc this brings up device manager, look for the network adapters and click onthe + sign Is you network adapter listed or does it have a X or ! or ? against it If listed I would right click onit and uninstall. ---- Now reboot the PC - it will detect new hardware, and start to install the wireless adapter, it should now automatically find the driver as you have already installed the driver software. But if it does not then when asked browse to the extraction files you created from the website If you have a ? against the device its looking for the device driver - right click and install and then browse to the files you extracted

you are going to have to use the driver cd that came with the modem also is this your first time hooking up there are instructions in the quick start guide that tells you where to find the drivers on the cd. i know because i use a 2wire modem i can help you, but if you just follow the guide you will be up and running.
