Hello,
There should be a pin hole on the back of the router beside the power cable. If you push in with a pin in the hole and hold it down for a few seconds you should reset the router.
Thanks,
Pat

Place your wireless G router in a wide open and central location. Don't connect the power plug into the router, yet. Make sure your computer is turned off.
1. Step 2
Connect all the devices.

Find the Ethernet cable that connects your PC to the modem. Unplug the Ethernet cable from your PC and insert it into the wireless G router's WAN port. You should have an additional Ethernet cable that came with your router. Take this cable and plug one end into one of the LAN ports on the router. Then connect the other end to your PC's Ethernet port.

2. Step 3
Turn on your modem, router, and PC.

Plug the power plug adapter into the modem. Turn on the modem. It'll take approximately 30 seconds for the modem to boot up. Connect the power plug adapter to the router and the other end into a power strip or outlet. Like the modem, it'll take about 30 seconds for the router to boot. Turn on your PC.

3. Step 4
Verify lights are on for your devices.

Make sure the following lights are on for your router: power, WAN, and LAN light. If you don't see any of them lit, confirm these devices are turned on. Make sure the Ethernet cable connections are installed correctly.

4. Step 5
Install and configure software.

Use the setup wizard application to configure your Belkin wireless G router. Set up features, such as creating your password and setting up your time zone. Continue to follow the setup wizard so you can configure  other settings.

Problem connecting to the wireless network?

What is the Operating system on the laptop ?
If it is XP then in the bottom right hand corner you will find Wireless network connection ( looks like 1 computer monitor). Use that icon to connect to the wireless network.
If it is windows Vista, then in the bottom right hand corner you will find 2 computer monitor icon. Use that icon to connect to the wireless network.
If it is Windows 98/ME/2000 then use the adapter utility to connect to the wireless network.
For MAC you will see the AIRPORT icon at the top.

Check the wireless settings of the router first . Make sure that yopu have all the wireless settings of the router. If you are not sure about the settings, then open the router set up and check the settings.

well you need to find out what your Mbps is for that router. if the router is only150 Mbps then 9 times out of ten you will only get a decent connection depending on how many computers you have running to it...

Yes you can use the 2wire. You will take the Ethernet cable from the cable modem to the 2wire input. Then from the 2wire out you hook the Ethernet cable to the desktop computer. Once that is done try to get on line with the desktop. If you can go to the laptop and get on line.

1) Is it working now?
2) By adding the MAC address to the router, ATT already did something "permanent" to the configuration of the router. If yours is like most routers, even if the router is unplugged, it will not lose the MAC address included in its configuration file (if you press the "RESET" button on your router, it will clear up the configuration and it will need to cnfigired from scratch... so whatever you do, do not press the reset button on your router)
