salt tray does have water in there its supposed to have. its probably the magnetic switch on the mains water line in the dishwasher these can go, it can also be a clogged inline filter this will stop water getting through and is located in between the water line and the unit, removing the the pipe from the back will let you see this. it can also be the main switch on the motherboard as these can go as well and will need replacing but i would check the filter first.

The reason for the whurring sound is that the water pump is trying to empty the drum first before letting in the new water cycle, I would check your outlet water pipe for any obstruction first by blowing down the pipe to check to see if there's a blockage, with the machine off of course this is of course only a suggestion but I hope it helps eric

Is your drain hose routed correctly? It should loop up higher and then go down to the drain connection under sink

pull it out and flip it upside down

There is a leakage in the dishwasher and the flood switch triggers during wash. This causes the pump to operate and continue to run as the flood switch remains switched. Best to find the source of leak either from door seal or drain hose.

I have the same problem.I need to take off the door from the integrated dishwasher.I can see a possible screw on the either side of the door but difficult to visualise this to find out what kind of screw it is.
Can someone advise me regarding the method of take the door off the integrated dish washer.
