LG DR389 MULTISYSTEM DVD RECORDER FOR 110-240 VOLTS Questions & Answers
No audio after recording from sat. Reciever
Double-check your input cables from the receiver to the LG 389. Do you have the sat. receiver AV out connected to the front AV In on the LG DRT389? Make sure that you haven't mixed up the L and R audio connections on either side. (I've done something similar with RCA cables myself.) Next, try a different set of cables. If that doesn't work, there may be a problem with the audio jacks on either your receiver or the 389. To check, plug the AV cables from the Sat. Receiver directly into the TV. If you have sound and video, then the input jacks on the recorder may be damaged. Try using another input. (It looks like some models have the SCART input; you may need to set the input source in the menu under AV2 Decoder.) The fact that you have audio output on USB and DVD's means that cables/connections between the LG289 and the TV are fine.I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the details of which AV port you are using on the LG389 for additional assistance.Cindy Wells

LG FB162 no sound when connected with Aux
Instead of aux (Blue Connector of PC Sound), try using head phone jack (Green Connector of PC Sound). It if is working fine, uninstall sound driver of your PC, restart PC and install sound driver again. Your problem will be fixed.
Audio not working on VCR side of LG LRY-517 DVD/VCR combo player
The back of the lry517 has 2 sets of audio outs and 1 set of audio ins. If you are using the component video outs, use the audio outs to the right of the component outs. If you are using AV1, it should be the audio to the left of the component outs.
The tape's audio may be very low, try turning up the tv volume? You could also try adjusting the tracking? Have you tried using the AV1 outputs? It would be Composite Video and stereo audio.
I have a “please wait” problem in my lg home theatre (model hb906sb) ??
The "please wait" problem in your LG home theatre (model HB906SB) is likely an issue with the system's firmware or software. Try unplugging the system from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on. If the issue persists, try performing a factory reset of the system. If none of these solutions work, contact LG customer support for further assistance.

Wat is s- protection on my lg home theater systerm
I'm not sure what specific LG home theater system you are referring to, but "S-Protect" is a feature found on some LG home theater systems that is designed to protect the system from damage due to power fluctuations or speaker wire issues. When the system detects a potential problem, it will automatically shut down to prevent further damage.
