Frilator pilot will light but fryer wont fire up

The thermocouple or thermopile is your culprit. If it is not sending the correct millivolt signal to the main part of the gas valve telling it to open then, the burners will not light. This is the cheapest part to start with. If after changing this out & you have the same problem then, you have a bad gas valve.

Igniter not sparking?

The cheapest part to start with is the ignitor itself, if that is not the culprit then it will be your ignition module located behind the front panel.

Pilot ligt wont stay light

My suggestions,

take the electrical wiring off the terminals of the gas valve one at a time, and clean the contacts with a food grade electronics contact cleaner and degreaser. Make sure all wiring is tight, not loose fitting, and clean. The thermo coupler, or sometimes used thermopile (multiple thermocouples in one) generates a small amount of electrical current when heated. The oil residue on a gas valve's electrical contacts SHORTS OUT THE MINUTE CURRENT GENERATED not giving enough current to hold the valve open.

The next thing, how high is your pilot set? If the flame is not striking the thermo pile properly, if its not directally in the flame, it will not generate enough current to hold the gas valve open. Sometimes a dirty thermo pile just cleaned up with sandpaper will work again (accumulated material acts as an insulator)

If you have access to a very high end electrical meter that is capable of measurung MICRO AMPS (very few) then you should check the actual current ouput of the themo pile.

Another thing, the gas valve solonoid MAY BE DEFECTIVE! IF YOUR THERMO PILE is of the screw in type vrs screwed on type, remove the gas valve end, degrease the inside and also that of the thermo pile surfaces, then use the CLEAN errasser of a pencil to clean both the inside of the gas valve connection, and also that of the thermo pile contacts. NO ERRASSER RESIDUE CAN BE LEFT ON EITHER SURFACE! Do not touch these contact surfaces with your hands because even the resistance of the body oil on these surfaces can mean the differance between it working or not!

The thermo pile or a thermo couple generates a minute amount of current that holds the gas valve on.

PS: and that didn't even cost you a dime, I'm off to an emergewncy service call to fix yet another McDonalds deeping fryer (don't call them beeping fryers cause they beep either!!!)

Orfice on fryer tube has flame on it

The things you will want to check and correct are the burner venturi, this is where the gas and air mix (where you see the flame when it backfires), this being dirty or clogged will cause this problem, your burner at the top being dirty can also cause this. Also, be sure the orifice is clean. If possible you should also check the gas pressure and set it accordingly. The other thing to check is the burner tubes themselves, these are the tubes that go through the fryer, many times with this scenario the tubes are getting clogged. These tubes being clogged will not necessarily cause this problem, but you may as well clean them while you are there.

How do i change from nat. to lp gas and what do i need

You will need a couple of things. You can get them from the LP company. It is not difficult nor is it costly. They want your business and will help you through it. I can't recall what the parts are, but I have had it done once before. Let me know how you do. Make sure you are getting the best price for LP. It should be around 1.60-1.80 per gallon.

Oil Level Stains

Manufactures are constantly changing the properties in the stainless steel. They are dropping the nickel and alloy contents that they used to use, that's where the dull finish is coming from !
All manufactures are changing there materials to compete in this industry. These units may have been manufactured at diferent times.

I replaced the thermocoupler still not staying lit.

I understand it that once the main burners go off, after the thermostat is satisfied (water heated) the pilot goes out too at the same time.
Make super sure the top of the t-couple is getting hit directly by the pilot flame. You may need to adjust the t-couples position, or even clean the pilot assemblies oriface. Double checking the connection of the coax cable at the gas valve would be a good idea too. tight but not super tight.

Hi need sper part for pitco fryer flame failure valve model no 14

It sounds like you are not recieving a heat feedback signal. It may be as simple as cleaning your flame sensor, using a emery cloth/ scotchbright. Be sure that all gas is turned to the on positions. Also that any safty high limits are closed / reset.
