Are you replacing a head unit or just whant to know what wire so what on your existing unit. If you are replacing a hjead unit you should always buy the correct wiring harness for you vehicle wich you can purchase at any electronics store that sells car audio.

Hi, many people have this problem, and the only way to do this task is to contact your Ford dealership, give them the make and model of your radio and they should be able to find the code for it, for a price, which in my country (UK) is £40.00.

there should only be the main fuse for radio. but heres the the color codes

Please take out the speaker and inspect it for a torn cone. At times, humidity, amp power or just wear and tear ruins the cone. Then you can replace the speaker or re surface the old speaker with a new cone. That will save you some bucks but may not be as well as buying another speaker. Also please use the same model and Ohms of it. 8 or 16 ohms

Does the radio power up but give no sound? If this is the case, you need to make sure the factory amplifier is first turned on. the aftermarket radio should have a remote turn on lead for amps. The Dodge caravans sometimes have Infinity sound systems in them and there may be a green wire with a red stripe in the factory side of the radio plug. This should be amp trigger. 12volts to this wire should give sound. If at all unsure, please consult a local stereo shop.

What's up Matt, I would suggest it's either the head unit has a small electronic component in it that;s going bad, or when the factory wired that car they placed a wire incorrectly and it has chaffed it's insulation off over a period of time. Good Luck L8R

My second guess is you installing this, and do not understand cars power structures. well, a radio head, like this has 3 power wires. 1: main power. 2: backlighting'. 3: memory wire. 4: some have electric antenna controls power. the answer to #1 regardless of color. is it goes to . the fuse marked radio in the fuse box. this is key on power, for accessories and ignition on.

If it's an aftermarket CD player there's a fuse in the back of the unit. The car should have a fuse in the fuse box. Some CD players have a reset button behind the face you can use an ink pin to reset it
