Lexmark E320 Laser Printer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
All six lights blinking. Have cycled power several times. How can I fix this?
The printer has a service error. There is a rest button below the 6 lights you see. Press and hold the reset button for at least 3 seconds. If that doesn't help.....Turn the main power off and on again. If the condition persists.....the printer may need to be serviced/diagnosed by a qualified technician.

How to fix a Lexmark E321 problem?
Obviously something is wrong with the cartridge or the chip since it was working before. Try buying a new oem cartridge or even an affordable compatible cartridge online, install it, and I'll bet your problem is resolved.

I have a paper jam
You should be able to remove the toner and drum unit, and open the panel on the back of the machine, where you should be able to see the page. Pull out slowly, and be sure the paper is intact. If not, be sure you look in and remove any pieces that are left.

My Lexmark e320 won't print PDF files. sometimes
Hi,
Try the following. Uninstall your Lexmark driver. Then restart the computer. Once you have uninstalled the Lexmark driver and restarted the computer then go to the following link http://bit.ly/9jfP20 and download the latest Lexmark E320 driver by choosing from the two options according to your operating system. That should take care of your problem. If that does not help. Then do the following. Go to Printers and Faxes. Then Right click on the Lexmark E320 Driver. Go to properties. Then Printing Preferences. Then Graphics Tab, Then Graphic Mode and select Raster then Apply the changes and try printing again. IF that does not work either then try lowering the resolution or playing with the graphic options.
Hope it helps.

Paperless paper jam
Ok, the paper jam ERROR could be due to one of the following:
- Check for paper in the paper tray
- Check the size of the paper in the paper tray to see if it is the same as what the printer is set for.
- Defective D-roller
- Debris in the paper path
- Gears not turning or broken gear
- Defective paper tray
- Broken input sensor flag
- Defective input sensor board
- Defective system cable 2
- Defective system board
- Exit Sensor flag (Fuser)
- Exit Sensor board (Fuser)
- System cable 1
If there is no bit of paper or
debris stuck in the rollers, it would indicate something more serious,
and in need of servicing. If your machine is under warranty, I suggest
you take it back to the shop and get it replaced or repaired under warranty.
If your warranty
has run out, then you'll either have to get it serviced or buy a new
printer (whichever works out cheaper for you)
Hope that helps!

Lexmark E320 - new cartridge poor print quality
Hello,
Have you cleaned the print head surface lately? It is located directly above the top of the toner cartridge which you need to remove to do this right. Now using a dry soft cloth reach inside and find the narrow slot and carefully go back and forth with the cloth (sharp metal edges be careful). If this does not solve the problem next try removing the toner cartridge and clean the metal contacts inside the printer on your bottom left side when looking into the open printer also it would pay to remove the transfer roller on the bottom inside this has two black tabs that release the roller the one on your left (again looking into open printer) should have a metal strip that should be free of toner on both sides this will also cause poor print.

Lexmark E320 Printing big black smear
1. Make sure that you removed the entire paper jam and that nothing is caught in the fuser assembly (the part that gets hot so make sure it is cooled off first, also do not use anything to dig at anything that might be there try carefully using a tweezer or needle nose pliers to pull it out.
2.Remove the toner cartridge and with a dry cloth or a pencil eraser clean off the contacts on your left when facing the inside of printer and the roller on the bottom can be wiped off to remove excess toner.
3.With toner cart. still out use a dry cloth to wipe the laser print head area located directly above the roller on the bottom of the printer be careful as the metal edges are sharp.
4.If there is a build-up of toner at the entrance of the fuser try gently removing it with a flat blade screwdriver with care.
5.If this doesn't help it may be necessary to replace the toner cartridge itself.
Best Luck

Panel Lights stay on at power on
* years..that might qualify you for an ancient printing award, from the manufacturer. Unless you are attached to that unit, you may find that it's high time to move to next step. I don't recall, in over 30 years of work, a printer with that longevity.
