plz download the vista drivers for your printer from the manufacture website

Color cartridge should be just fine. You may want to change the printing to "best" for the pictures.
You can purchase Photo ink, but it doesn't make that much of a difference and you can't switch back and forth because the ink points on the toners will dry up and be able to be used.

It's frustrating I know!
It doesn't work in Vista. It is only supported by Windows up to XP. I now have another PC running XP just so I can use my printer!

Here's the XP driver anyway:

Right-clicking on the driver application and clicking Properties to Enable XP Compatibility in the Compatibility tab doesn't work either, it just doesn't have support beyond XP, so you'll have to do what I did and load up XP on another machine if you want to use you printer!

Hi, before downloading did you create a folder for driver p3150,make a folder so that the computer can detect the driver folder.

go to lexmark.com: http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/site/home/0,6932,204816596_0_0_en,00.html

at the top right is a drop down for drives and downloads. go to driver finder for the drivers and publications and user guides for the manual.

I would uninstall all printer drivers, reboot and then try one at a time.

Install the driver first, then connect the printer.

It should work as a copier even without the drivers.

It is the problem with the software and also the page settings. This issue can also occur due to the corrupted registry.

How ever the best way to resolve the issue is

1. Uninstall the software completely.
2. restart the computer
3. delete the temporary files
4. reinstall the updated software(do not use the cd) for your lexmark printer by clicking on the weblink below:

Is the Scanner bulb goes on, during process, Is there any movement.

If not then the installation is not done properly, or either the Scanner driver are missing from the setup of All-in-One printer.
