On the page which opens,
select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu. Then download the required driver.

I want to Scan a
Find the "menu" button on your printers keypad and push it. Use the up and down areas on the printers keypad to advance from choice to choice. Find the option that says something similar to "scan settings" . Push the "ok" button or the "enter" button on your printers keypad to open this option. Continue scrolling with the up and down arrows and using the ok or enter keys on your printer and locate the "scan to" choices. Set up your software choice for scanning text documents and pictures. Most people want to open and edit text documents in software like "Microsoft Office" in your computer. Choose a photo editing software installed in your computer to send pictures scanned on your printer to. When these settings are set and saved, turn on both the computer and printer and try scanning from printer to computer again to check and see if the problem is solved. If you experience any other issues, pleas clarify what they are and I will try and help you solve this right now before I leave for work.
When I try to copy/print anything I get a
AS far as the error 50 C is is concerned its a common problem with this printer and lot of user faces this problem, you may try following steps it might help however most of the time it does not get resolved and that's when is the time to buy a new printer cause this problem happens after a particular age of printer.
I would suggest you to follow the following, also i won't ask you to replace the cartridge because you have already did that as you have mentioned plus that would mean extra investment without a surety of fixing the problem.
1. Power off your All-in-One and unplug it.
2. Plug in your All-in-One again and turn it on.
3. Uninstall and then reinstall your cartridges.
Check if the error is fixed or
4. Remove the color print cartridge
and check if the problem is solved else..
5. Reinstall the color cartridge and remove the black print cartridge.
Still if this does not get resolved.There are some good all in one printer that you can go for please try checking wall mart
I keep having paper jams
I would suggest that if the struck up paperr was removed it is owrth a try to use a thicker brand of printing paper so as to reconfirm the benefit off doubt on the machine.
now if the paper is a little thinner than the normal one the roller settings may not fully touch to hold and draw the paper with even pressure. If only one section of the roller is holding then it will tend to draw this side much further than the other side.
So if after changing the paper the fault seems evident, clen the rollers well , remove the drive motor on the side tto disengage the drive , then use your hand to manually turn and see for any foreign particles on the rollers. clean well use some methy spirit to dry wipe off .
Now set the mechanism back and take a test. recheck once again
My scanner wont work
Make sure the Lexmark is the default printer in printer settings ( in control panel )
If that doesn't help please give some more information about any error codes or flashing lights that appear.

Printer jam
Try to delete the jobs which are already pending. Powercycle the printer by taking its power cable off for 30 secs and than plug that back in.
Need a replacement cord
You can look in any electronics shops around your area for the 2-prong power cord. You can also contact Lexmark Technical Support to request for that. They can send you one for free. Just them your contact info and the serial number of your Lexmark printer. Hope this helps.

If you are windows vista home premium user please try this troubleshooting steps.
1) Go to Control Panel
2) Select System and Maintenance
3) Select Administrative Tools
4) Double-click on Services
5) In the list of services, scroll down until you find one called "Print Spooler"
6) Right-click on "Print Spooler" and select "Restart"
7) The "deleted" jobs will disappear and any queued jobs in your print queue will print
My office is trying to
RUN a diagnostic test if your printer is connected to your PC , or go the MENU or SETTINGS a do a DEFAULT , SEE IF IT WORKS.
